Details

Remember who you are. Reclaim your magic. Join us this fall in the coastal redwoods of Mendocino, California for 4 days of ceremony, intuitive flow yoga, dance, group reiki, Ayurvedic self care, ritual and renewal under the Dark Moon portal of Samhain. Samhain is a pagan cross-quarter fire festival known as the Witches’ New Year: a powerful time for rites, awakening, transformation, divination and magic. As the veils thin, we are invited to remember what has been hidden, forgotten, and reclaim the wisdom held in cycles of change, death and rebirth. These are the feminine mysteries of ritual & renewal. The Wheel of the Year turns and we are reminded not only of the cycles of change inherent in the seasons of life but also of our sacred place in the greater tapestry of the whole. To help us align our inner rhythms with seasonal and lunar shifts, we’ll be connecting with the elements and exploring Ayurvedic self care rituals. Guided by myths of the underworld and the Dark Goddess, the spirits of the land, and our ancestors, we’ll explore ceremony, yoga, intuitive movement and embodied meditations designed to help us embrace this season of shadow, shedding and release. Across many world traditions, this time of the year is known as a liminal time when the boundaries between the spirit and the living thin. To connect with and honor our ancestors, we’ll be creating a group altar and sharing stories of loved ones who came before us. As above, so below. As within, so without
