This is Sarah Eiler with Deep Breast Yoga.

Thank you for joining me for this Yoga Nidra nap.

Practice this energetic tune-up anytime you feel tired,

Depleted,

Or anytime when you want to re-energize your nervous system.

As we begin our time together,

Make any adjustments to your body so you can completely settle down into comfort and stillness.

Closing down the eyes and becoming aware of the darkness behind your eyelids.

Inviting all aspects of yourself to settle down into this present moment.

Trying to release and soften the whole weight of your body down into the surface beneath you.

Taking several slow,

Long,

Deep breaths,

Inhaling in through the nose and exhaling out of the mouth.

Inhaling and exhaling with a big sigh.

Continuing to breathe deeply at your own pace.

Deep inhales and long,

Slow exhales.

Each breath inviting the mind and the body to slow down and soften.

Each exhale releasing layers of tension.

Releasing the busyness of your day.

Taking one more deep breath in and out.

And then let your breath return to its natural rhythm.

I invite you to listen to the world around you now with your ears wide open.

Become receptive to all sounds.

Sounds in the distance.

Sounds closer by.

And any sounds on this recording.

Ears open and listening to the range of sounds filling your environment.

The tones and undertones.

Lips of sound vibration flowing through your entire body.

Noticing the sounds emanating from your own body.

The sounds of your inhales and exhales.

Notice the sound of your heartbeat.

Your body a symphony of sound and vibration.

Each cell generating its own magnetic pulse.

And each organ vibrating at its own frequency.

The entire nervous system receiving and sending energy as waves of sound flow through your entire body.

During this practice using my voice like an anchor to remain aware and to wait.

But if at some point you lose track of my voice or you fall asleep trust that you will still hear everything you need to in the deepest parts of yourself.

Starting to mentally scan the whole body now,

Scanning your head,

Neck,

Arms,

Hands,

Chest,

Legs and feet.

Noticing how your body feels today.

Noticing all sensations.

Be sensing areas of tightness,

Heaviness,

Lightness.

Deepening into the practice.

Tapping into your inner wisdom and asking what do you need most to align with your authentic self.

Maybe it's more gratitude,

Self-love,

Peace,

Forgiveness or healing.

Whatever deeply resonates with you create a short present-ent statement such as I know and share my truth or I live in peace and gratitude or I surrender to the energetic flow of life.

Bringing your personal intention into your mind now and repeating it silently three times.

As we begin to rotate your attention through your body I invite you to imagine or feel a wave of energy flowing into each body part.

A wave of energy flowing from one body part to the next beginning by bringing all your awareness to the very top of your head.

Feeling into its surface,

Into the scalp,

The hair.

Perhaps feeling tingling or aliveness here.

Feeling or imagining a wave of energy flowing through the top of your head,

The sides of your head and the back of your head.

A wave of energy flowing into the deepest parts of your mind,

Flowing through both temples,

Both ears,

Both ears listening and translating waves of vibration into sound.

Energy flowing into the space between the eyebrows and through the front of both eyes,

The back of both eyes.

Feeling into and through all the micro muscles behind the eyes,

Allowing the eyes to soften down into rest.

Feeling down the bridge of the nose,

Past the tip of the nose,

Over both lips and then circulating through the mouth,

Through the tip of the tongue,

Inside the right cheek,

Inside the left cheek and then the entire mouth all at once,

Noticing any tingling or pulsing.

Waves of energy flowing through both sides of your jaw,

Down into your throat and into the center of the chest,

Your heart center.

Waves of energy flowing through your heart,

Then moving over to the right side of your chest,

Down into the right shoulder,

Elbow and then flowing into the right palm,

Lingering here and noticing any sensation in the right palm.

Flowing into the right thumb,

The second finger,

Third finger,

Fourth finger,

Fifth finger and the tips of all the fingers on the right hand.

Waves of energy flowing up and down the right arm,

Moving back up to the heart center and then over to the left side of the chest and flowing down into the left shoulder,

Elbow and left palm,

Stopping here to notice any and all sensations.

Energy flowing into the left thumb,

Second finger,

Third finger,

Fourth finger and fifth finger and then flowing into the whole left arm,

The whole left arm alive with sensation.

Moving back up to the center of the chest and then down through the navel and into the belly,

Belly filled with energy,

Flowing over to the right hip,

Down through the knee,

Through the ankle,

Into the foot,

Filling up the big toe,

Second toe,

Third toe,

Fourth toe and fifth toe,

The whole right leg illuminated with energy.

Flowing back up and over to the left hip,

The knee,

Ankle and the entire left foot,

Flowing through the big toe,

Second toe,

Third toe,

Fourth toe and fifth toe and then the whole left leg at once filled with energy.

Energy flowing through the whole body,

All the cells of your body vibrating in harmony.

Whole body bathed in this energetic flow.

Bringing all your attention now to your natural breath without changing its natural rhythm,

Just noticing how the belly gently rises and falls,

How the rib cage expands and contracts and how the chest flows up and down ever so slightly.

Listening to the sound of your breath,

Allowing each breath to soothe and soften your entire nervous system and then imagining the sound of your own heartbeat,

The sound of each heartbeat as it creates a vibration of sound flowing through your entire body.

Every cell bathed in the heart's rhythm,

Every cell vibrating simultaneously.

The whole body deeply resting.

Feeling mind receding,

Feeling spacious and timeless.

Whole body resting in this deep state of peace that always resides in you.

42 Bringing your intention statement back into your awareness now and repeat it three times silently to yourself rewiring the beliefs residing deep inside.

Slowly and gently coming back to the present moment to your body breathing to the feeling of your whole body,

The back of your body,

The surface underneath you,

The front of your body.

Taking a deep breath in through the nose,

Then a big exhale out of the mouth as you start to welcome in small movements,

Perhaps gently elongating your spine,

Rotating your jaw from side to side,

Or wiggling your fingers and toes.

Thanking yourself for giving your nervous system this chance to deeply rest.
