Hello,
My dear Harkonners.
Today's meditation is an exercise in cultivating the spiritual fruit we observed yesterday.
As we enter today's meditation,
I encourage you to be still.
This is not to say to not move a muscle or to focus all your attention on maintaining absolute stillness.
It is simply to say that if you have to reposition,
That's okay.
Reposition and then resume being still.
And if your mind wanders,
That's okay too.
Everyone's mind wanders.
Just gently bring it back to the present and don't judge or admonish yourself for it.
And once you are still and without judgment,
You will naturally flow into a spirit of peace and loving kindness.
For this meditation,
I invite you to sit in a cross-legged posture or other comfortable seated position.
Make sure your back is straight and you're observing good body posture.
And once you've found your position,
With your eyes closed,
Open your hands in front of you,
One on top of the other,
Cupped slightly in receiving position.
And let's imagine we are receiving joy.
Joy.
Let us imagine that the seeds of joy are being placed in our hands.
The seeds of joy are being placed in our hands from on high.
These seeds will cause joy to grow inside us.
The spirit of joy will increase in us until we are so full of joy that even people just passing by will see it in us.
Now,
Just remain in this posture for a few moments and continue to receive joy.
