This is Daily Magic for Peace.
Today we will connect with the breath and the body.
Welcome to the circle.
So today all you need is your breath.
As we get started today,
I invite you to take your place in the circle.
I invite you to find your center and release anything else that might be in your mind or your consciousness,
Things you just did or things you need to do later.
If you can find a way to set them aside,
Maybe set them in a safe place.
You can come back and get them when we're done.
I will remind you.
And just be here with us in circle today.
So to calm our nervous system today for our first grounding exercise,
I invite you to just explore a little bit of touch.
You might put your palms together and feel the warmth of your hands.
You might put a hand on your face.
Just gently touching your face.
And the magic of this practice is just in a slowing down of it,
In the being in the moment of it,
In the exploring of it.
Notice how touching brings you into the moment and how it connects you with your body.
And you might join me in placing a hand on your heart and just silently telling your body,
I'm here.
As the consciousness of this body,
I am here with the rest of this body.
I'm here with you.
And noticing how your body responds to that sentiment.
And for our energetic connection today,
Let's stay with that heart.
Let's just remain in the heart and maybe get grounded.
Find your grounding.
Feeling down into the earth.
Keeping a hand on your heart if that feels good to you.
And feeling into your heart as you ground.
Feeling into if the feeling in your heart center changes once you are grounded.
And maybe also sending a cord up as well to connect up with the center of the universe,
With God is God,
With whatever is in the above for you,
Connecting up as you connect it down.
And notice how that affects your heart.
And in this place of connecting to the above and the below with your hand on your heart,
You're connecting with your body.
And let's add the breath to that.
Join me in breathing in and out very slowly.
Let's do three times.
Breathing in and out.
And again,
Breathing in,
Breathe into the heart.
And breathe out.
And again,
Into the heart.
In and out.
Just effortlessly letting this heart energy begin to fill your body.
And fill your bubble space.
Just let it expand from your heart.
If you feel like you can't feel it or it's diminishing,
Just keep breathing into your heart.
Just kind of taking a bath in that heart energy today.
Maybe it can sink in a little deeper.
If you've let it flow into your body,
Maybe there's another level of your body you can let it flow into.
If it's in the skin,
Maybe it can go into the muscles.
If it's in the muscles,
Maybe it can go into the bones.
What would it feel like to fill your whole body with this heart energy?
And what would it feel like to fill your whole aura with this heart energy?
Your whole aura from your skin out until you reach the edges of your bubble space.
What would happen if you filled that whole space with loving heart energy?
And as we begin to move toward the end of our meditation today,
I invite you to join me in three more breaths.
So breathing in and out.
And in and out.
Last time,
In and out.
If you've had your eyes closed,
You might let them flutter open a little bit and have a soft focus.
And feel whatever you're standing,
Sitting,
Or lying on.
Maybe wiggle your toes,
Wiggle your fingers.
Coming back.
And I wish you today deep connection with your heart and deep connection with the things you love and the things you are grateful for.
And as you leave circle today,
I remind you to grab the things that you set aside and look at them and see if you really wanna pick them all back up.
You don't have to pick them all back up if you don't want to.
May it be so.
