This is a sound healing practice.
My name is Michelle Cassandra Johnson.
And I invite you to find a way to be in your body as we prepare to receive some sound and whatever type of healing you might most need at this time.
You can set up with cushions,
Blankets,
In a seat or on your back,
On your couch,
In your bed,
However you wish to be.
You could even be in motion for this practice.
Find a way to be in your body and take a few deep inhales and exhales as you begin to land in your posture.
Breathing in and breathing out,
Perhaps offering audible exhales.
Allow your shoulders to soften onto your back away from your ears.
Allow yourself to notice what parts of your body are in connection to the earth.
Seat,
Back,
Feet,
Hands.
Close your eyes or soften your gaze and rest your hands wherever feels comfortable and comforting.
Begin now to deepen your breath in your body.
And if you wish to set an intention for this practice,
For healing a particular part of the body or healing in response to an emotion that might be present or a situation you might move through now or healing for the collective,
You can set your intention now,
Planting a seed with your intention for this practice.
You can begin to deepen your breath in your body,
Gently bringing yourself back,
Reawakening in the resonance of sound,
Vibration,
Breathing and returning to your intention for healing yourself and perhaps something beyond you.
Perhaps reawakening by licking your lips,
Turning your head side to side,
Wiggling fingers and toes,
Stretching through the length of your whole body.
Gently bringing yourself back or lingering here for a bit longer.
Thanking yourself for showing up for this practice.
