Welcome to Breathe With Me,
I'm Rev Skip,
And this is a series of pranayama practices to allow us to become aware of how we are breathing.
So if you're ready,
Let's begin.
In this moment,
I simply want you to invite yourself to simply just be.
This meditation is a breath awareness meditation.
I call this the sacred pause.
Take a comfortable seat or lie down.
Close your eyes gently and begin to notice your breath without trying to change it.
Just observe it.
If it feels comfortable for you,
Close your eyes or simply drop your gaze towards your heart.
And simply notice your inhale and your exhale.
Notice when you breathe in,
There is an expansion of your torso.
And as you exhale,
There is a contraction experience.
Just simply feel the rhythm,
The rise and fall of the breath.
Inhale,
Exhale,
Inhale,
And exhale.
And continue to breathe at your own rhythm.
And as you breathe in,
I want you to feel supported,
Safe,
And present.
And as you exhale,
I want you to feel grounded,
Centered,
And connected.
Inhale safe,
Supported,
Present.
And as you exhale,
I want you to feel grounded,
Centered,
And connected.
And allow the breath to simply flow naturally,
But be aware of how you are feeling when you breathe.
With each inhale,
Gently invite yourself to arrive right where you are.
And with each exhale,
There's a soft release.
Inhale,
Arrive,
Exhale,
Release.
And you can say these words aloud or to yourself.
I inhale,
I receive.
I exhale,
I let go.
Inhale,
I receive.
Exhale,
I let go.
Let this breath carry you home,
Home to right where you are.
Allow the breath to remind you of the present moment.
You cannot breathe in the future or the past.
You can only breathe in the now.
And as we close this pranayama practice,
Just gently wiggle your fingers,
Your toes,
And gently come back into the space that you're in.
And be grateful of the sacred time to just simply pause,
Be still,
And remember.
Come back to this breath meditation throughout your day.
Allow yourself to center and recenter with simply a yes.
Thank you so much for joining me today.
I'm Rev Skip.
And remember,
Transformation is a choice and you chose today.
Namaste.
