Transcript

Let's begin by taking a deep breath,

Exhaling and surrendering your body to the earth,

Bringing all of your attention and awareness to your breath,

Allowing all that you are to be.

As you focus on your inhale and every exhale letting go and surrender,

Allow yourself to be in a place of compassionate awareness.

Allow yourself to explore and to reconnect with your wholeness,

Your power and your truth.

Taking a deep breath in and as you exhale,

Send a root like a tree from the base of your spine to the center of the earth.

Watch your root move through the soil,

Breathing deeply in the medicine of the earth that surrounds you,

All the way down until you see your root right in the center of a bright red core,

A lava.

Our root chakra gives the medicine of safety,

Grounding and belonging.

As you take a deep breath in,

Pull that red light all the way up to the base of your spine.

And as you bring that light in,

You can say,

I am held.

I am safe.

I belong.

And as you breathe in that safety and sense of belonging,

Noticing what comes up for you in your body or your mind.

And if there are spaces you don't feel safe or you don't belong,

With your exhale allow yourself to release any story,

Any fear,

Any grief.

Deep breaths in of that bright red light and letting go.

And imagine your root holding that red light.

The earth below you,

Holding you.

You are allowed to feel what you feel and remain grounded and held.

And allow your body to remember what it means to be held by the earth.

Let the earth remind you that you belong here,

That you were born for this moment in time.

And with your exhale breath,

Let your body become heavier.

Feel the parts of your body that touch the earth and draw in that red light.

And as you draw in that red light,

You can say,

This moment is enough.

My breath is enough.

There is no need to rush forward when the right now is sacred.

And as you move through your day or your week and you begin to feel ungrounded,

With eyes open or closed,

You can remember your root deep down into the center of the earth.

And you can surrender and allow yourself to be held exactly as you are in the moment.

And whatever you need,

Be it strength,

Courage,

Or a sense of peace,

You can breathe in that red light all the way up your root.

And let it sit at the base of your spine like a red pool of cosmic water that you can source from any time.
