Susi Amendola (C-IAYT & E-RYT 500) brings over 40 years of experience to her teaching. She is the Founder and Director of Yoga Now in Omaha, NE (est. 1983) and she is the National Director of Stress Management for Ornish Lifestyle Medicine, a program using yoga and meditation to reverse Heart Disease in hospital sites around the country. With her expertise in both the medical world and the ancient practices of Yoga, Susi’s teachings are quite unique and extraordinarily healing. In April 2024, Susi published "The Centered Heart: Evidence-Based, Mind-Body Practices to Stress Less and Improve Cardiac Health" "The Centered Heart" is the culmination of what Susi has compiled through her suffering, her studies, and ultimately her own triumph in the journey back to health. It is what she has learned through the authenticity and openness that others have shared with her during their own sojourn to healing. May this be an inspiration and a blessing. May we all stress less and uncover the calm within us.
