This brief tapping meditation helps you quickly shift out of a bad mood, release stress and tension, and reset your emotional state. In just a couple of minutes, you’ll be guided through a simple sequence to restore calm and shift into a better headspace. And with no long introduction or closing, it’s easy to hit replay if you feel you need to do another round or two of tapping to achieve a full reset. Note: this practice requires being familiar with the EFT tapping sequence. Tapping on the side of the hand,

Repeat after me,

Tweaking any words as needed,

Even though my day is not going as planned.

And this has put me in a foul mood.

I fully acknowledge how I feel.

And at the same time,

Choose to hit the reset button.

Now go to the top of the head and move from tapping point to tapping point after each of the following statements.

I'm in a bad mood.

And that is okay.

I can see how I got here.

But I can choose to respond differently.

I can tap and breathe through whatever I'm feeling.

I remind all parts of me that everything is going to be okay.

That I am resilient.

That I will get through this.

That I have a choice in how I respond to difficult situations.

And letting my mind and body fully let go of this foul mood.

Choosing something to be grateful for instead.

Using these two short minutes to regulate my nervous and emotional system.

Choosing to hit the reset button now.

Choosing to fully release anything and everything that is getting in the way of me enjoying the rest of the day.

Now tap your wrists together and say calm.

Calm.
