I deeply and completely accept myself.
Even though there are still things that are unfinished,
My body deserves to rest.
Even though my mind keeps on replaying all the things,
I choose to soften and release the day.
Even though there's still tension in my body,
I allow myself to let it go.
Even though there are things on my to-do list,
I give myself permission to rest.
Take a slow,
Deep breath in,
Gently hold,
And a complete exhale,
Sigh it out.
Eyebrow,
All the stress from today,
Side of the eye,
Everything still running through my mind,
Under the eye,
All the to-do lists,
Under the nose,
Everything I feel like I didn't finish.
Chin,
The pressure to do more,
Collarbone,
The tension in my body,
Under the arm,
The mental noise and chatter that won't stop.
Top of the head,
My nervous system is still in a go mode.
Big breath in,
Let it go.
Eyebrow,
Maybe I did more than I realize.
Side of the eye,
My brain just keeps on scanning for more problems.
Under the eye,
Just trying to make sure I don't forget anything.
Under the nose,
I don't need to solve everything right here,
Right now.
Chin,
The day is allowed to end.
Collarbone,
My body deserves to unwind.
Under the arm,
It's safe to let go of the day.
Top of the head,
I can pick things up tomorrow once I've rested.
Big breath in,
Let it go.
Eyebrow,
This feeling of not getting enough done.
Side of the eye,
The pressure I put on myself.
Under the eye,
The voice that keeps saying I should have done more.
Under the nose,
That constant inner push to get it done.
Chin,
Maybe my nervous system just needs rest.
Collarbone,
Maybe I just need to slow down.
Under the arm,
I'm allowed to be human.
Top of the head,
Humans have limits and they need rest.
Big breath in,
Let it go.
I allow my shoulders to soften.
Side of the eye,
I let my jaw unclench.
Under the eye,
I let my breath deepen.
Under the nose,
I allow my body to settle.
Chin,
My nervous system can begin to downregulate.
Collarbone,
I'm moving out of the doing into the being.
Under the arm,
I'm allowed to rest.
Top of the head,
I give my body permission to reset.
Big breath in,
Complete,
Exhale out.
Eyebrow,
The day is now complete.
Side of the eye,
Even if everything isn't finished.
Under the eye,
I did what I could today.
Under the nose,
And that is enough.
Chin,
Everything else can wait.
Collarbone,
Nothing is urgent right now.
Under the arm,
My only priority right now is to rest.
Top of the head,
I give permission for my body and mind to relax.
Big breath in,
Let it go.
I invite you to close down the eyes,
Place your hand on your heart,
And take a second to scan the body.
If you notice any tension,
Send your breath that way,
Allowing it to release and melt off you.
Take a moment to notice your feet and the ground below you.
You are safe.
You're being held.
It is time to fully let go.
Allow any tension,
Anything that is weighing on your shoulders,
That is on your to-do list,
To melt off your body.
Relaxing through the face and the jaw,
Softening the shoulders,
Allowing your back body to let go.
Front body softens.
Your body gets heavy as it lands here.
Remind your body rest is essential.
It is not to be earned.
So when you get a good night's sleep,
Fully recharged,
You'll have the bandwidth to get everything done tomorrow.
You are in the right place at the right time.
You are safe.
You are protected.
It is time to rest.
Fully and completely let go and allow tomorrow to be a powerful day.
As you fully unplug and release right now.
