And today I welcome you to a very short three-minute breathing exercise to ground you and enhance positive energy for your day.
So when you're ready,
Find a comfortable space where you won't be disturbed for the next three minutes.
Sit comfortably with your spine up straight and close your eyes.
Inhale deeply into your chest and into your belly,
And exhale out through the mouth with a sigh,
Letting go of all the energy,
All the tension you want to let go.
Do that one more time.
Inhale deeply,
All the way to the belly,
And exhale.
And one more,
Feeling how the tension releases and exits your body while you exhale.
And now feel your sit bones on the ground or wherever you're sitting on.
Feel the parts of your body touching the ground,
The earth.
And feel yourself rooted in this moment now,
Allowing your breath to slow down,
Allowing your heart rate to adjust,
And allowing yourself to just be for this moment,
Letting go of all the thoughts of your day and just connect to your breath.
And we're going to stabilize our breath now.
Exhale out the breath that you're exhaling,
And then inhale to the count of four,
Hold it for the count of four,
Exhale to the count of four,
And hold it to the count of four.
We're going to do a few rounds of that.
So let's start together.

And start breathing normally again,
Inhaling,
Without the pause,
Exhaling.
And realize for a moment how your breath has slowed down,
How your mind is calmer,
How you feel more nourished and at ease.
Take a big inhale and exhale through the mouth.
And when you're ready,
You can open your eyes.
And you can always come back to this breath whenever you feel stressed or overwhelmed.
It will regulate your nervous system,
It will anchor your breath into your body,
And it will bring you back to the space here and now.
