The crown chakra is located at the crown of our heads. When it’s balanced, we feel connected to Source and enlightened. In this meditation, we focus on balancing this space with mindfulness, breathwork and imagery.

Welcome to today's meditation focusing on the crown chakra.

I invite you to come into a comfortable seat or reclined using whatever props are necessary.

Begin to gently close your eyes or to soften the gaze.

Bring your focus to your breath as it flows in and out.

Draw in a nice belly full breath with a long audible exhale.

Begin to inhale for 1,

2,

3,

4,

5,

6 and exhale 2,

3,

4,

5,

6,

7,

8.

Inhale 1,

2,

3,

4,

5,

6,

Exhale 2,

3,

4,

5,

6,

7,

8.

Continue using this breath pattern or return to what's most comfortable for you.

Bring your awareness to the space right on top of your head.

This area is believed to be where our crown chakra is located.

I invite you to place one hand or even just one finger in this space and either begin to lightly tap it or massage it in small circular motions.

Imagine a violet or lavender colored star in this space.

Notice how it shines bright with rays shooting out everywhere.

Watch as it shrinks with each inhale and expands with each exhale.

Allow each round of breath to bring in fresh new ideas being downloaded into this space.

As you inhale,

Repeat,

I am enlightened and with each exhale,

I know.

See these new ideas,

Thoughts,

And healthy habits being implemented in your everyday life.

Continue tapping or gently massaging this space,

Repeating,

Place one hand at your heart space and one hand on your belly.

Remind yourself that everything I need is already inside of me.

Fresh new ideas,

New thoughts,

Positive healthy thoughts,

And new habits.

I am enlightened and I know.

Take a few more rounds of breath just as you are.

Allow the eyes to gently open if they were closed and bring space and awareness back around you.

Add some gentle movement in the body if needed.

Trust that everything that you need you already have inside of you.

Trust that you are tapped into your intuition and allow yourself to trust it.

Knowing that intuition is like a more you work it,

The more you trust it,

The stronger it becomes.
