Welcome to this guided meditation,
The Power of Letting Go.
Sit or lie down in a comfortable position.
Close your eyes and just become aware of your body and your breath.
Take a few deep breaths,
Breathing in through your nose and using your exhalation to let go of any tension.
If any thoughts arise,
That's ok,
Just don't engage with them.
Keep focusing on your breath and they will go.
Visualize your body relaxing more with each breath.
Now visualize yourself in a meadow.
It's a beautiful,
Warm and sunny day.
The grass has a bright green color.
You feel at ease.
You start walking and you see different animals and trees.
It's so beautiful here.
In the distance you see a cave.
You slowly walk towards it and enter it.
In the middle of the cave you see something or someone that you need to let go of.
It might be a relationship with someone,
Maybe an old house or an old job,
Maybe it's a part of yourself or one of your beliefs.
In that case,
They might take the form of an imaginary person or an object.
That's fine.
You know they're no longer serving you.
They're stopping your growth,
Your development.
And you know you need to let go of it.
Just stand in front of it and be aware of any emotions or thoughts that might come up.
They are okay.
No matter how you feel,
You have the right to feel that way.
Now speak to the person or the object you have in front of you.
Tell them everything you need to tell them.
Explain to them why you no longer need them.
If there's something you've always wanted to tell them,
Now it's the time.
Say everything you need to say.
Now bring your hands to the heart and slowly and mindfully say,
I forgive you.
With each exhalation,
Let go of any resentment,
Any tension.
If you're not ready for this step,
It's okay.
You can come another time.
Now say thank you for the lessons learned,
For anything you might feel grateful for.
And again,
If you're not ready for this step,
It's okay.
You can come another time.
It can take time.
Now it's time to leave and say goodbye.
Say it out loud if you can.
Goodbye forever.
Now visualize yourself leaving the cave and you find yourself again in the beautiful meadow.
This time you see a river.
You walk towards it.
The water is crystal clear,
So clean and pure.
Take off your clothes and swim.
Feel the fresh and clean water taking away all the old energies,
Patterns,
Any unpleasant emotions,
Any tension.
See it all going away with the current.
Now you get out of the water and you see a beautiful new dress that is waiting for you on the grass.
You put it on and feel grateful.
Feel your body filling with gratitude for this cleansing and renewing experience.
Your whole body fills with gratitude and joy.
And when you're ready,
Bring your attention back to your body,
To your hands,
Your fingers,
Your toes,
Your legs,
Your arms.
Start to move them slowly.
Bring your attention to the room you're in and see if you notice any noises.
Take a few deep breaths and when you're ready,
You can open your eyes.
