Soften.
Let ease into the body.
Be dropping the shoulders or lifting your arms for a gentle stretch.
And rest the mind.
See if you can notice it slowing down.
Accept everything that arises.
Let yourself surrender to this experience just as it is.
See if you can let it be.
Because no matter the feeling,
It belongs.
All feelings belong.
So maybe gently soften and open to whatever is present.
Knowing how your body tells you the feeling is there.
And maybe even letting warm,
Gentle attention rest on whatever sensations you find inside your body.
And as you do,
Remind yourself that you are not alone.
And you're not stuck.
Because nothing is permanent.
Change is always happening.
And when we remember that,
We remember that we need not grasp or fight or push.
We have only to wait and watch.
To be with our present moment experience with kindness,
With self-compassion,
And with deep love for our own sweet humanness.
This is the human experience.
So take heart.
Let ease into the body.
And one moment at a time,
You will find your way back to your inner stability,
Your innate wisdom and joy.
