Welcome to your sanctuary of rest.

Find your comfortable space,

Warm and cozy.

Take a slow,

Deep breath and release your thoughts,

Letting them drift far away.

Bring your awareness into your heart center and notice a softness there.

Another beautiful breath in and this time take the breath down to your abdomen.

Relax with a deep exhale.

Take another slow,

Deep breath and know that in this moment all is well.

Tune into the present moment.

Follow your breathing in and out as you relax and settle in still more.

Just let your shoulders and neck area relax,

Your arms,

Back,

Abdomen,

Hips,

Legs and feet.

Relax and breathe.

Breathing is your connection to life and the natural world and like all of nature,

It has a rhythm.

Just take a few moments now to do nothing more than simply follow the rhythm of your breath and relax.

Now,

Take a slow,

Deep breath in and as you exhale,

Imagine stepping away from the weight of your day as if you're leaving behind a heavy cloak.

Picture yourself standing at the entrance to a hidden sanctuary,

Your own sacred place of rest.

This is a space where the world slows down,

Where the air is infused with tranquility and where every step invites you deeper into calm and peace.

The ground beneath your feet is soft and warm like a sun-kissed meadow.

A gentle breeze brushes against your skin,

Carrying the delicate scent of flowers and fresh earth.

Above you,

The sky stretches endlessly,

Fast,

Open and painted in soft hues of twilight.

The golden glow of the setting sun casts a warm embrace over the land,

Signaling a time of quiet renewal.

Now,

As you take slow steps forward,

You notice a winding path leading you,

Leading you toward the heart of this sanctuary.

Each step you take feels lighter,

As if the earth itself is cradling you,

Inviting you to let go of all tension,

All effort.

You walk past tall,

Whispering trees,

Their leaves rustling in a soothing melody.

The sound is gentle,

Like a lullaby sung by the wind.

The presence of these trees feels ancient,

Steady,

Unshaken,

Reminding you that,

Just like them,

You too are rooted in something deep and unmovable.

Now,

You notice a crystal-clear stream flowing beside you.

Its waters are moving in a slow,

Rhythmic dance.

You pause for a moment,

Watching the way the sunlight dances upon the surface,

Forming shimmering ripples of light.

With each ripple,

You feel a deep sense of ease spreading through you,

As if your thoughts,

Like the water,

Are softening into stillness and peace.

As you continue along the path,

You arrive at a secluded clearing.

It's a secret garden nestled within this sacred landscape.

At the center,

There is a soft,

Inviting place to rest,

Perhaps a cushioned seat,

A smooth rock warmed by the sun,

Or even a gentle bed of moss.

You settle in,

Allowing yourself to completely release.

The moment you do,

You feel an invisible embrace.

It's a warmth surrounding you,

Filling every part of your being with a sense of safety and deep comfort.

You notice the air here feels different.

It's richer,

Filled with something unnameable yet familiar,

Like the memory of pure peace.

Every breath you take in this space nourishes you.

Every exhale you take dissolves tension.

So,

As you sit in this stillness,

Time seems to stretch,

As if the world itself has paused to hold you in this moment.

There is no rush.

There is only rest.

Just follow your breath in and out for a few moments,

Resting in this space.

Now,

Imagine a soft,

Golden light beginning to gather above you.

It's forming a radiant sphere of warmth,

Peace,

And serenity.

This is the energy of calm.

It's pure,

Gentle,

Infinite.

So,

With your next inhale,

This golden light begins to descend,

Moving down toward the crown of your head.

As it touches you,

A deep sense of relaxation washes over you,

Like the soothing warmth of the morning sun.

Now,

The light moves gently down,

Dissolving any tension in your forehead,

Your jaw,

Your neck.

It glides down your shoulders,

Uncoiling any tightness there.

It's melting away any stress you're holding onto.

It moves through your arms,

Filling them with warmth and ease,

Down into your hands,

Softening your fingers.

This warm,

Golden light continues down,

Spreading down through your chest,

Expanding with every breath,

Filling your heart with a sense of deep rest.

It flows into your back and spine,

Unwinding any knots of tension,

Moving into your belly now.

It's filling your belly with this warm,

Soothing,

Golden light.

Moving into your hips now,

Releasing any tightness there,

Your legs and all the way down to the tips of your toes.

Every inch of your body is now infused with this golden calm.

You are completely at ease,

Completely at rest.

Relax into the stillness.

As you bask in this warmth,

You feel as if you are floating,

Weightless,

Cradled by the gentle rhythms of the universe.

There is nothing to hold onto,

Nothing to figure out.

You are simply here,

Held,

Supported,

Completely at peace.

Beneath you,

You feel the Earth itself is humming with a quiet,

Steady presence,

Reminding you that you are connected to something vast and unshaken.

Above you,

The blue sky stretches endlessly,

Reminding you that you are free.

So,

In this moment,

There is no past,

No future.

It's just the spaciousness of now,

A place of deep,

Boundless calm.

Beautiful.

Beautiful.

Now,

Ever so gently,

We begin to return.

This warm,

Golden light will remain within you.

It's a quiet ember of peace that you can carry forward.

So,

Take a slow,

Deep breath.

And as you exhale,

Become aware of your surroundings once more.

Feel the soft weight of your body and the gentle rhythm of your beautiful breath.

Gently roll your shoulders,

Awakening with ease.

Breathe in deeply one last time.

And as you exhale,

Bring your awareness back to the room.

When you're ready,

No rush,

Gently open your eyes,

Carrying this sense of deep calm within you wherever you go.

Here is an affirmation which you can silently say to yourself or out loud.

I am at peace with myself and the world around me.

I carry this sense of calm with me throughout my day or evening.

I am worthy of deep rest and renewal.

And as you exhale,

Breathe those words deep into your heart.
