As we begin this Reiki sleep meditation,

Just know you are entering a sacred healing space.

As a Reiki Grandmaster,

I will call in the Reiki symbols of Choku Rei,

The power symbol,

The symbol of protection,

Grounding,

Strength,

And amplifying life force energy.

I will also call in a second symbol,

Seiki,

For emotional and mental healing.

Place a hand on your heart if that feels right.

As I chant,

You can just receive.

Both symbols are present now,

Choku Rei for power and protection,

Seiki for peace and emotional healing.

The Reiki flow has begun only for your greatest and highest good.

Place your hands gently wherever feels intuitive in this moment,

Your lap or your lower belly,

Perhaps your heart.

With your eyes closed,

Repeat inwardly,

I am connected to Reiki,

I let Reiki flow for my highest good.

Just settle here,

Breathing,

Receiving,

Simply allowing Reiki.

Bring your awareness now to the very top of your head,

To your crown chakra,

The place where spirit gently touches form,

And imagine now a warm,

Gentle golden light opening above you,

Like a soft star,

Like moonlight through the mist.

And it begins to pour,

Slowly,

Effortlessly,

Downward,

Through the crown,

Like a quiet blessing as it moves into the crown.

The day begins to fade,

And now Reiki flows down into the forehead,

Calming thoughts,

Dissolving mental noise,

Letting the mind unclench,

Releasing any planning,

Any remembering,

Just softening with Reiki,

Drifting away,

Like the clouds dissolving into the night.

And now,

The golden Reiki light moves behind your eyes,

The eyes soften,

The tiny muscles release,

You no longer need to see,

Only rest,

Only Reiki restoring you.

And now,

Into the cheeks,

The jaw,

It's unclenching,

The tongue relaxing,

The face becomes peaceful,

And Reiki continues into the throat,

Soothing,

Releasing unspoken tension,

Nothing to say now,

Only sleep,

And now,

Down into the neck,

The shoulders,

Let them melt as though the burdens are sliding off,

One by one,

And the body remembering,

I am safe now.

And Reiki continues pouring down through both arms,

Slowly,

Like warm golden water,

Down the upper arms,

Through the elbows,

The forearms,

Into the wrists,

And into the palms.

Feel the energy in your hands,

Softly,

Warm,

Your hands become channels,

Quiet vessels of healing,

And now,

Reiki flows into all of the fingers,

Moving up now,

From the palms,

Up through the arms,

Into the centre of your chest,

Into your heart,

And here,

Reiki becomes tenderness,

Reiki becomes peace,

The heart softens,

The heart unwinds,

All and any emotional weight,

Any tightness,

Beginning to dissolve,

Like a long,

Quiet sigh,

And now,

Reiki moves down into the solar plexus,

The belly of the nervous system,

Releasing control,

Releasing effort,

Letting the body feel safe,

And now,

Into the belly,

The sacral space,

Where life energy rests,

Where the waters of the body soften,

Reiki flows deeper,

Into the root,

To the base chakra,

The place of grounding,

The place of deep sleep safety,

And Reiki settles there,

Like an ember,

To heart,
