Prayer Of Presence & Trust

This is my prayer today to Spirit.

Spirit within me,

Guide me to a place without borders,

Beyond edges,

Beyond names,

Beyond the fences of my thoughts.

Spirit,

Lead me into the wide open field where nothing needs to be defended and nothing is held apart.

Spirit within,

Bring me trust,

A trust that settles into my bones,

Into the breath of my body,

Into the quiet spaces where fear once lived.

Let this trust be felt,

Not forced,

A soft knowing that I am held.

Spirit bring in my knowing,

The wisdom that rises before words,

The truth that lives beneath effort,

The intelligence of the heart that remembers without explanation.

Spirit within,

Open my heart,

Gently,

Patiently,

In perfect timing.

Soften what has been guarded,

Ease what has been bracing,

And allow tenderness to return where protection once stood watch.

Break down the walls,

The inherited limits,

The learnt defences,

The stories of my mind.

Replace them with presence and restore me into trust.

In presence I arrive,

In trust I am guided.

In stillness I remember who I am.

Spirit,

Walk with me,

Move through me and lead me home to myself.
