Eric Wolterstorff

Dr. Wolterstorff would like to make the benefits of trauma psychotherapy available to everyone. His Tauma Integration Protocol (TIP) draws from four lineages: traumatology, the neuroscience of memory, Buddhist meditation techniques, and psychoanalysis. If a traumatic event slows a person on their journey to their dream, they can— * Master the event so it does not happen again to them or someone under their care, and so they are more capable than before it happened. * Heal the disruption to their psyche. A meditation practitioner can do some parts of the work of repair alone. With other parts, the person will need help. They can draw on the amount and kind of support they want and need, have available, and can afford: 1) alone, 2) with a pet, 3) with a friend, 4) with a peer, 5) in a circle, 6) in a circle with a psychotherapist, 7) in a circle with a trauma psychotherapist, 8) with a psychotherapist or 9) with a trauma psychotherapist.
