PTSD//IPV Survivor note: This meditation helped me so much, specifically in moments where my anxiety welled up into a gag in my throat. For me, PTSD is sometimes like being forced to stand holding all the cards on a boat that better not so much as creak much less rock. I wasn’t forgetting to breathe. I couldn’t stop my throat and sometimes my whole body from spasming so tightly, I couldn’t breathe. This relaxation was a tempo my body had the time to take in, the breathwork in beat, voice reminiscent of my Florida home neighborhood. Thank you.
