Explore MeditationEmma is a certified MBSR trainer (Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction) and a trained teacher for Mindful Self compassion (MSC). For the past 20 years she has taught mindfulness and self-compassion courses, coached individuals and run workshops in her own practice in Munich/ Germany and at various public Organizations and private Corporations. In 2018, she became, along with Carlos, a certified Shinrin Yoku practitioner in England, and later at the University of Munich in Germany. She is a co-designer and practitioner of our Shinrin-yoku (Forest Therapy) program in Europe. She is the author of the course programme “Nature based Mindfulness”. It brings together the practice of mindfulness and a mindful connection to nature. She has been teaching this programme for several years, observing the beneficial and healing influence of nature connection on the overall wellbeing of the participants as well as on the deepening of the mindfulness practice. In a world that alienated and separated human beings from nature and suffers the consequences now, it is my wish and aim to help people reconnect with nature on a deeper level - it is our home. Recognizing nature as part of us helps us finding a true understanding of who we as humans really are and therefore finding a more meaningful, fulfilled and peaceful way of living.
