There you are,
You lovable being.
Welcome to this peaceful space.
Winter,
For me,
Is always full of challenges.
Less light,
Less movement,
A nervous system that has been holding for several months,
That accumulates,
That intensifies.
And as we are approaching the end of February,
Something quite particular is happening.
The days begin to lengthen.
The light changes.
Energy starts rising.
We are not fully in winter anymore,
But we are also not yet in spring.
We are at a threshold.
And for many of us,
Especially if you're highly sensitive like I am,
This period can feel loaded.
For me,
Those few days before spring feel like a rebirth.
Almost too much energy,
A surge,
A movement that can feel beautiful and overwhelming at the same time.
Nature is preparing.
Roots are reorganizing underground.
Sap is rising in the trees before leaves even appear.
Nothing is visible yet,
But everything is getting ready.
And as part of nature ourselves,
We need to get ready as well,
By grounding,
By cultivating inner peace before the movement begins.
So today,
We are not just going to meditate.
We are going to prepare.
Prepare for growth,
Prepare for light,
Prepare for the beautiful intensity of spring,
Like a recalibration.
So if you're ready,
Let's begin.
If it feels comfortable,
I invite you to close your eyes.
Find a comfortable position,
Sitting,
Lying or even standing.
Whatever feels best right now.
And let's take a deep breath together.
Inhale through your nose.
Hold.
And exhale through your mouth.
Let's do it one more time.
Fill your lungs slowly and deeply.
Hold.
And exhale through your mouth.
One last time.
Fill your lungs as much as you can.
Hold.
And exhale through your mouth.
And now,
Let your breath find its own rhythm.
Slowly,
Naturally.
And with every inhale,
You create space.
And with every exhale,
You release accumulation.
With every inhale,
You create space.
And with every exhale,
You release the tension of winter.
With every inhale,
You create space.
And with every exhale,
You release any stored fatigue.
You can now gently bring your attention to your body.
Notice how it is resting here.
Still.
And see if there is any areas that might enjoy a little more softness.
And release it,
Bit by bit.
It may be around your face,
Your jaw,
Your tongue,
Your neck,
Your shoulders,
Your wrists,
Your fingers,
Your ankles,
Or your feet.
Feel the points of contact with your body.
Gravity pulling you toward the center of the earth.
Toward the soil that roots grow from.
And imagine roots growing gently from the soles of your feet.
Slowly.
Steadily.
Below the surface,
Nature is preparing for bloom.
Above the surface,
You are building steadiness.
And from this calm,
Grounded place,
Reconnect with your inner peace,
And repeat these affirmations after me.
You can do it out loud or in your heart.
What matters is to do it with sincerity.
I am grounded.
I am steady.
I can meet what comes.
I carry peace within me.
I am ready for a rooted renaissance.
I am welcoming the wonderful energy of spring.
Let each sentence land.
And let them plant seeds.
Before ending this meditation,
Take one last deep breath in.
And release anything else you don't need.
You can gently begin to come back.
You can wiggle your fingers,
Your toes.
Feel the air on your skin.
Listen to the sounds around you.
And when you feel ready,
You can open your eyes.
Welcome back.
Before ending this beautiful time together,
I invite you to gently check in with yourself.
You are now ready to return to your day carrying this energy with you.
I wish you a lovely way back to your day.
