Hello my friend,

Welcome!

You're about to step into a magical place,

Not far away,

But deep inside,

Where dragons dream and hearts remember.

Let's get cozy.

Grab your favorite pillow or blanket or something that helps you feel safe.

And I invite you to close your eyes gently.

Let's take a dragon breath together.

We'll breathe in deep through your nose like you're smelling smoke from a cozy fire.

And breathe out through your mouth like you're blowing a tiny flame.

And let's do that again.

In through your nose,

And out through your mouth,

Soft and slow.

Now imagine you are standing before a glowing mountain.

Feel the air all around you.

Is it warm like sunshine or cool like a morning mist?

What does the air smell like?

Do you smell the sweetness of moss or the sparkle of rain?

And look at that mountain.

How high is it?

Do you notice any colors swirling around the mountain?

At the base of this mountain is a cave,

But not just any cave.

This is the cave of the dragon's heart.

And today the dragon is waiting for you.

And as you walk closer to the cave,

Notice the ground beneath your feet.

Is it soft and grassy or smooth like a worn stone?

As you get closer,

The air shifts gentle,

Warm,

And golden.

And as you approach the cave,

With every step into the cave,

You feel more peaceful.

You notice the walls shimmering like candlelight and tiny crystals in the stone around you.

Some are glowing softly,

As if they might be breathing with you.

Take a slow look around.

What do you see?

What does the cave smell like?

Do you hear anything echoing quietly like the drip of water or a soft hum of a song?

The deeper you go,

The more you feel safe,

Seen,

And home.

The dragon greets you.

Kind eyes,

And giant wings,

And ancient breath.

Their scales shimmer like moonlight on water.

What color are the dragon's scales?

And when the dragon breathes,

What sound does it make?

The dragon nods and leads you into a secret room.

Here,

The walls are glowing like the outside of the mountain,

Covered in symbols and drawings and words from children just like you.

This,

Says the dragon,

Is the wall of heartlight.

You are invited to add something to the walls.

Take a moment to feel what's inside of you.

What would you like to place on the wall today?

A picture of a dream?

Your name?

A feeling that you have?

A symbol or a word that your heart wants to whisper?

Here,

You begin.

Your finger traces,

Or your mind imagines,

And the wall receives it all.

Then,

A soft firefly light appears.

It gently retraces your drawing,

Your word,

Your memory,

Line by line,

And it glows brighter with each stroke.

It doesn't change anything that you put on the wall.

It honors it.

This matters.

It says,

You are magic.

It says.

The wall pulses,

And from your creation,

A tiny bloom of light emerges.

The dragon leans close.

Every time you add your truth here,

You help another heart feel brave.

Even sadness,

If you drew it,

Is welcome.

Especially sadness.

The dragon says,

When you paint your sadness,

The cave holds it with you and slowly turns it into light.

You're guided to a shallow pool of silver light,

The surface rippling gently like a mirror made of moonlight.

If there's anything your heart wants to let go of,

The dragon whispers,

You can whisper it into the water.

What might that be?

A worry?

A heavy feeling?

Something you said that didn't feel right,

Or something that was said to you that didn't feel right?

Whisper it now,

Into the shallow pool of silver light.

And notice how the water responds,

Swirling,

Glowing,

Receiving.

It doesn't make it disappear.

It holds it.

And you are lighter.

You are seen.

The dragon turns to you and places a crystal in your hand.

It's warm and glowing.

What color crystal did the dragon give to you?

It might even hum a little,

Like it's singing just for you.

This is your heart light.

It shines when you're kind.

It glows when you're brave.

It pulses when you create,

Express,

Or feel big things.

You place it in your pocket,

Or over your heart.

It's yours,

Always.

You begin the walk back with your dragon.

Notice how your steps feel now.

Lighter,

Softer,

Like you're glowing too.

The cave behind you shines brighter,

Not because you are leaving,

But because you were here.

Before you open your eyes,

Ask yourself,

What did I draw or write today?

What do I want to create with my heart light?

What did my dragon look like?

And what will I do with the feeling I'm carrying right now?

Take a deep breath in and slowly blow it out.

Wiggle your fingers and wiggle your toes.

And when you're ready,

Gently open your eyes.

Your heart light is still glowing,

And the dragon is always close.
