Hello and welcome.

My name is Mark and I'm so glad you're here.

This will be a quiet space for your heart,

A space to breathe,

To rest and to gently let go of the weight that you've been carrying as it's been so heavy,

So hard.

Please take a moment to arrive,

Find a comfortable position,

Sitting or lying down.

Let your eyes soften and allow your body to exhale.

Begin by bringing your attention to your breath,

Just notice its gentle rise and fall.

Let it move like a tide through you,

No force and no effort,

Just breathe.

With each inhale you arrive here,

With each exhale you soften just a little more.

Let your shoulders drop,

Unclench your jaw,

Feel your weight fully,

Completely supported beneath you.

Now,

Place a hand gently over your precious heart and just notice the warmth of your own touch.

Your heart is your anchor,

Your inner sanctuary.

And now,

Bring the mind to the person you've parted ways with,

Not to dwell but to simply acknowledge what was,

With honesty and with tenderness and with deep,

Deep self-respect and love.

Let yourself feel what you feel,

Without shame,

Without pushing it all away.

Now,

In your mind's eye,

Picture yourself standing by a gentle stream,

Clear flowing water before you,

The sky above is wide and open,

The air is still and kind.

Imagine,

My friend,

You're holding something in your hands,

A stone,

Light or heavy,

And this stone carries a remnant of this past relationship,

All that you've been holding,

The hopes,

The heartache,

The unanswered questions,

The echoes.

But you don't have to analyse it,

You don't need to figure it out.

Just feel the stone in your hands,

And when you're ready,

With love,

Not anger,

Place the stone in the water before you and let it be carried by the current.

Watch it drift away now,

Watch it disappear.

You are not abandoning anything,

You are simply honouring what once was,

While choosing peace for yourself,

Because you deserve it,

You deserve peace.

Now,

Bring your hand back to your heart and whisper gently,

Inwardly,

I let go with love,

I choose peace now over pain,

I am whole.

Again,

Repeat these phrases,

Inwardly to your heart,

I let go with love,

I choose peace over pain,

I am whole.

Feel that truth now,

Land in your body,

Let it settle into your very bones.

You are not what happened,

You are who you are becoming,

And you,

Dear one,

Are becoming more free with every single breath.

Now,

Take a few more slow,

Steady breaths,

Letting light return to your chest,

Letting clarity rise like the morning sun over the water.

Inhale calm,

Exhale the past,

Inhale presence,

Exhale release.

And when you're ready,

Gently bring yourself back to the space you're in,

Feel the surface beneath you,

Wiggle your fingers and your toes,

And know this,

Friend,

You are doing beautifully,

Your healing is unfolding,

And love,

The kind that begins within you,

That's already here.

Now,
