Welcome to this meditation,
A space where you can let go of worries and surrender to the present moment.
Begin by finding a comfortable position,
Whether sitting or lying down.
Close your eyes gently and take a deep breath in through your nose,
Filling your lungs with air and exhale slowly through your mouth,
Releasing any tension or stress.
With each breath allow yourself to let go of the past and future,
Bringing your focus solely to the present moment.
Feel the support beneath you and the air around you,
Grounding you in this space and time.
As you continue to breathe deeply and calmly acknowledge any thoughts or emotions that arise without judgement.
Simply observe them and let them pass like clouds in the sky,
Allowing yourself to be fully present in this moment.
Feel your body relaxing with each breath,
Letting go of any resistance or tension.
Embrace a sense of surrender,
Accepting things just as they are in this moment without trying to change or control them.
Visualise yourself releasing any worries,
Expectations or fears that weigh on your mind.
Imagine these thoughts dissipating into the air,
Leaving you feeling lighter and more at peace.
Focus on the rhythm of your breath,
Feeling the rise and fall of your chest and the gentle flow of air in and out of your body.
Allow this sensation to guide you into a state of calm surrender.
In this moment of surrender,
Recognise that it's okay to simply be,
Without needing to do or achieve anything.
Embrace the serenity of the present moment and let it fill you with a sense of tranquility and acceptance.
Stay in this peaceful state for a few more breaths,
Soaking in the stillness and surrender.
When you're ready,
Gently bring your awareness back to the room,
Slowly open your eyes and carry this feeling of surrender with you as you continue your day.
