As you begin this meditation,

Gently close your eyes and feel your mind.

You are about to take a journey into the deepest layers of relaxation,

A place of peace and serenity,

A place where nothing is required of you.

Give your thoughts permission to take a rest now,

To wander off and return in the morning.

Here,

You are safe,

You are warm,

You are quiet.

Feel your body resting exactly where it is,

Your faithful companion through every experience.

This time is for you,

Time for your mind to soften.

Gently breathe,

Body relaxes.

Take 5 breaths in and out,

With each exhale,

Your body dissolves into rest.

Let your mind relax,

Allowing any thoughts,

Worries or expectations slowly melt away,

Like mist in warm air,

Like tension releasing from a held breath.

Feel your muscles softening,

Finally free for a few hours.

Your breath begins to change,

Flowing easily like a calm evening tide.

The tiny effort in your face smooths out,

Your jaw softens,

Your shoulders drop.

You become aware of the darkness behind your closed eyes,

Not empty but tender.

You begin to notice a soft glow,

Like a lantern dimming down its light,

A warm comforting light,

Like a light in a peaceful room,

More light appears slowly,

Effortlessly,

Until you feel yourself surrounded by a field of glowing love.

This light does not demand anything of you,

It simply holds you,

Loves you,

Surrounds you in nourishing,

Loving,

Beautiful light.

You begin to feel lighter,

As if your body is being supported from beneath you,

Like resting on a cloud made of kindness.

The light knows you,

It loves you,

It recognizes you,

It welcomes you exactly as you are.

This light that surrounds you is love.

This love fills every cell,

Muscle,

Tissue,

Bone,

Loves all of you.

It whispers without words,

You are safe,

You are enough,

You are allowed to rest.

Feel yourself floating in this love,

Weightless floating,

Supported,

Created,

Every cell in the body is bathed in gentle light,

Just being,

Just breathing,

Resting in this divine light,

Rest surrounded by love,

Rest in spaciousness,

The light wraps around you like a luminous blanket,

Full of stars,

Stardust and love,

Protective,

Tender,

You are floating,

You are free,

You are safe,

You are loved.

There is only this moment,

This breath,

This feeling of floating and being held,

And as you float here you may notice your thoughts growing quieter,

Your body sinking deeper,

Your awareness softening,

Sleep arrives naturally now,

You are safe in this love,

You are resting in this light,

Floating in love,

Rest in spaciousness,

You are allowed to let go,

Rest in spaciousness.
