Welcome my friend,
You're tuned in to OM HY KU,
I'm your host Mamoun,
Back with another music meditation,
Just to soothe,
Just to relax,
To let go,
To center,
To ground,
Just for you.
If you've been feeling overwhelmed by circumstance,
Stressed out at work,
Fed up with school,
Fed up with family,
Fed up with friends,
Feeling anger,
Disappointment,
Loneliness,
Tiredness,
A lack of motivation,
A lack of inspiration,
Feeling confused,
Undervalued,
Underappreciated,
Overlooked,
Misunderstood,
Experiencing self-hate,
Self-doubt,
Perhaps even self-love,
Joyfulness,
Playfulness,
Gratitude,
Or somewhere in between,
Whatsoever you feel,
It's a-okay,
We're going to take some deep breaths and see if we can come back to trust in the unfolding of our day,
In the unfolding of our moment to moment,
Having trust that life is unfolding for our greatest benefits,
Even when it's difficult to see how or why,
That being said my friend,
Getting comfortable,
Becoming aware of how you're sat,
You can lie down or sit up straight if you like,
You're safe to close the eyes,
Tuning deeper inside,
Witnessing and welcoming in the mind,
Embracing emotion,
Embracing sensation,
Embracing thoughts,
Like old friends,
Not pushing them away but welcoming them as they are,
Softening the face,
Softening the belly,
Relaxing the hands and feet,
As you take a deep breath in,
And exhale,
Letting go of worries,
Feeling worries leave the mind,
Leave the body,
As you breathe in trust,
And exhale,
Letting go of insecurities,
Fears,
And exhale,
Love for others,
And exhale,
Letting go of confusion,
Self-doubt,
Breathing in kindness and compassion,
And exhale,
Letting go of the inner criticism,
The negativity,
And exhale,
Old life,
Old energy,
And exhale with awareness,
Good my friend,
Stay with me,
Aware of your body,
Aware of your posture,
As you breathe in,
And exhale,
Relaxing the face,
Relaxing the belly,
Letting go of tension in the jaw,
The hands,
The shoulders,
Breathing into the belly,
And exhale,
Pushing the belly outwards,
And exhale,
Cherishing your life,
Coming back to the blessings that are already here,
As you breathe in,
Inhaling slow and soft,
And exhale,
Even slower,
Even softer,
Holding that breath at the top,
Becoming aware as you hold the breath,
And exhale,
Letting go of all the air in your lungs,
Just be empty,
And if your mind has been wanting to think,
Now is the time to let your mind be totally free to think,
Allowing the breath to be natural,
And the mind to be free,
Holding that breath at the top,
Becoming aware of your presence as you hold the breath,
Way to stay with it my friend,
So happy you would join me today,
Across time and space,
Sending your encouragement on your path,
Keep going,
Never despair of good fortune,
And remember,
Even misfortune is just fortune misunderstood,
So if you feel that you've been having some misfortune lately,
Seek to understand this misfortune,
So that it can become a blessing,
Taking a deep breath in,
Breathing into the whole body,
The color for today is dark gray,
The number is 555,
And the animal is an antelope,
I thank you for joining me across time and space,
Sending you a big hug,
My dear friend,
Wishing you an abundance of love,
Resourcefulness,
Creativity,
And consciousness,
Being creative is how we connect to the larger creation,
If you don't feel connected to life,
Or you might be experiencing some loneliness,
It's really nice to get creative,
It's very hard to feel lonely when we're delighting in creativity,
Even if we're by ourself as we're creating,
The very act of being creative connects us to life,
Life is just another word for creativity,
Infinite creativity,
Limitless creativity,
So sometimes we can feel bored,
Restless,
Lonely,
Unmotivated,
Uninspired,
And we don't want to create something,
That's fair,
I don't always feel like creating myself,
And it's not always easy to put our creativity out there,
To share it with others,
We can become over-perfectionalistic,
Overly critical,
There's so many things that can block us from being creative,
But we continue to practice,
Just like meditation,
Just like this breath work,
We continue to practice being creative,
And we strengthen that muscle,
And we strengthen our connection to the bigger creation,
And with that,
I will see you back here tomorrow,
With love.
