Welcome,

I'm so glad you're here.

Today we're going to create space for a beautiful new beginning.

Whether you're here because a new year is starting,

Or you're beginning a new chapter in your life,

Or you're simply ready to start fresh in some way,

You're in exactly the right place.

Beginnings are powerful.

They're full of possibility and promise,

But they can also feel overwhelming or uncertain,

Can't they?

We might feel pressure to have everything figured out,

To know exactly where we're going,

But that's not what beginnings require.

What they need is our presence,

Our openness,

And our willingness to take one step forward.

So that's what we're going to do together today.

We'll ground ourselves in this present moment.

We'll get clear on what matters most to you.

We'll set gentle intentions that feel true and authentic,

And we'll cultivate the trust and courage to move forward.

I'll be with you every step of the way.

So let's begin.

Find a comfortable position,

Whether you're sitting or lying down.

Let your body settle.

Let yourself arrive fully right here,

Right now.

Gently close your eyes or soften your gaze downward.

And let's take a deep breath in together.

And release it completely.

Beautiful.

And once more,

Breathing in fresh possibility.

And letting go of any tension or worry.

You're here,

And that's already a beginning.

Now bring your awareness to your breath.

Just notice it moving in and out like waves on a shore.

Each inhale is a beginning,

Each exhale a letting go,

And then another beginning.

Your body knows this rhythm intimately,

The cycle of renewal that happens thousands of times each day.

With each breath,

You're literally beginning again.

Fresh air,

Fresh moment,

Fresh start.

Feel into this natural rhythm.

You don't have to make anything happen.

Your body is already showing you how to begin over and over again.

You're doing beautifully.

Just keep breathing,

Just keep arriving.

Now let's take a moment to acknowledge where you are right now,

In this very moment.

Not where you think you should be,

Not where you were yesterday,

But where you actually are.

Because every true beginning starts from honest ground.

Feeling what's alive in you right now.

Maybe there's excitement or hope.

Maybe there's anxiety or uncertainty.

Maybe you're tired,

Maybe you're energized.

Whatever's present,

Just notice it.

There's no right or wrong way to feel at the start of something new.

Just acknowledge this is where I am.

This is what I'm bringing with me,

And that's okay.

That's perfect actually.

Because you can only begin from where you are.

Get clear on what truly matters to you.

Because the most meaningful beginnings aren't about doing more or being more.

They're about becoming more aligned with what you value,

With who you really are.

So I want you to ask yourself,

What do you want to feel more of in this new chapter?

Not what you think you should want,

Not what others expect of you.

But what your deepest self is longing for.

Maybe it's peace,

Maybe it's joy.

Maybe it's connection or creativity.

Maybe it's courage or calm.

Maybe it's a sense of purpose or freedom or play.

Listen for what arises,

Your heart knows.

And now,

What do you want to cultivate?

How do you want to show up in your life?

Maybe with more presence,

More kindness,

More authenticity,

More patience,

More boldness or more softness.

There's no pressure to have all the answers.

Just notice what whispers to you,

What calls to you,

What feels true.

Beautiful.

Trust what you're sensing.

Your inner wisdom is speaking.

Now let's turn these stirrings into gentle intentions.

Not rigid goals or demands,

But loving invitations to yourself.

These intentions are like compass points,

They help you orient,

But they don't dictate every step of the journey.

I'm going to offer you some sentence stems and invite you to complete them silently or aloud in whatever way feels authentic to you.

There's no rush,

Take your time with each one.

So let's begin with the first one.

Just finish the sentence to yourself or out loud.

In this new beginning,

I choose to welcome.

In this new beginning,

I choose to welcome.

Yes,

Whatever arose for you,

Let it land in your heart.

And let's move to the next.

I commit to being more.

Feel that commitment settling into your body.

And finally,

I give myself permission to.

I give myself permission to.

Beautiful.

These permissions we give ourselves are so powerful,

They open doors.

Now place both hands on your heart.

Feel your heartbeat.

That steady,

Faithful rhythm that's been with you since the very beginning of your life.

This heart that has carried you through everything that's brought you to this moment.

This heart is ready.

This heart is capable.

This heart knows how to begin.

I want you to imagine yourself a few months from now having lived into these intentions.

Not perfectly,

We're not looking for perfection,

But genuinely,

Authentically.

What does that version of you feel like?

How do they move through the world?

What has shifted?

Can you sense them?

Can you feel them?

That version of you isn't far away.

They're not someone you have to become through struggle or force.

They're already within you,

Waiting.

And every small choice you make,

Every moment you align with your intentions,

Brings them more fully into being.

You don't have to make giant leaps.

You just have to take the next right step.

And then the next one.

And then the next.

Now let's talk about trust.

Because beginnings require us to trust.

To trust ourselves.

To trust the process.

To trust that we don't need to have everything figured out.

Take a deep breath in.

And as you breathe,

Imagine breathing in trust.

Trust in your own resilience.

Trust in your ability to learn and grow.

Trust that you are exactly where you need to be.

And as you exhale,

Release any need to control everything.

To know everything.

To be everything right away.

Just release it.

Let it go.

Again,

Breathe in trust.

Breathe in faith in yourself and in life.

Breathe out the pressure.

You're doing this beautifully.

I can feel your pain.

You don't have to do this perfectly.

You don't have to have it all figured out.

You're allowed to stumble.

You're allowed to change course.

You're allowed to be messy and human and still learning.

Beginnings aren't about perfection.

They're about showing up.

They're about taking one brave step,

And then another.

And trusting that the path will reveal itself as you walk.

So here you are.

Standing at the threshold of something new.

You've clarified what matters to you.

You've set intentions that feel true.

You've given yourself a purpose.

You've given yourself permission.

And you've chosen trust over fear.

And now,

All that's left is to begin.

In a moment,

We'll close this practice.

But before we do,

Let's take one final breath together to seal everything we've cultivated here.

Breathing in possibility.

Breathing in courage.

Breathing in your own readiness.

And breathing out with gratitude for this new beginning you're stepping into.

Now start to deepen your breath.

Begin to bring your awareness back to the room around you.

Feel the surface beneath you.

The temperature of the air.

The sounds around you.

Wiggle your fingers and your toes.

Roll your shoulders gently.

And stretch in any way that feels good.

And when you feel ready,

No rush at all.

Open your eyes.

Welcome to your new beginning.

You've set something beautiful in motion here.

You've planted seeds.

Now trust them to grow in their own time,

In their own way.

Remember,

You don't have to be perfect.

You just have to be willing.

Willing to show up.

Willing to try.

Willing to begin again,

As many times as it takes.

Thank you for being here.

Thank you for choosing to begin with such intention and care.

May you move forward with courage.

May you be gentle with yourself.

And may you trust the unfolding.
