During her 25 years as a Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon, Dr. Tamy felt a profound inner calling that changed the course of her life. The deep calling to set down her scalpel and shapeshift into Soul Surgeon, from fixing the outer physical form into a path devoted to healing the inner world. Awakening people from the suffering of the mind and guiding them back to their true nature as peaceful, whole, conscious awareness. As a mother of five, Dr. Tamy understands the real-life challenges of balancing spiritual healing with the messy, beautiful humanity of daily living. She's known for her compassionate, grounded, and deeply relatable approach. Blending Buddhist psychology, mindfulness, and meditation techniques to help you awaken to the truth of yourself, Dr. Tamy supports those navigating life transitions, emotional burnout, and spiritual longing, Each person is invited to pause, breathe, and remember who they are beneath the story of self. Dr. Tamy's personal journey is rooted in the Buddha dharma, including thousands of hours of study and retreats with renowned teachers around the world. She was given the Dharma name Source of Selfless Activity, in the Zen Buddhist Plum Village tradition. Today, Dr. Tamy offers 1:1 sessions, group workshops, and Insight Timer Lovestreams. She writes Permission Slips on Substack- reflections on living with more presence, trust, and inner freedom. Her mission is simple and profound: to raise consciousness, one soul at a time.

I enjoy how Dr Tamy reminds us during the meditation, that we already have everything in us. Her voice is calming and the meditation is exactly as the title says. Looking forward to more:) The bell at the end is a little distorted and kind of startling though!

Dr. Tammy thank you for this comforting meditation. Your soothing voice was so comfortable and relaxing enough to put me to sleep. My only issue is that at times the wonderful music was a little louder that your voice was hard to hear for me. Also the end of meditation bell startled me and made me jump😂😂. Overall I love the peace and comfort I felt. Thank you and see you in the lives number 3 for me and loving it🙏🤟

Mindful Moments are a great idea! I often don’t have time for longer sits. This was just what I needed. Dr. Tami makes you feel ok with yourself, your being, your mistakes or drifting off, and gently guides you back:)

Dr Tami has a very warm and calming voice. She offers helpful guidance throughout this meditation :) She does a great job reminding us that everything changes and just having someone else validate us to push through, is sometimes all one needs.

This meditation felt like a gentle homecoming. The breath settled. I felt myself dropping beneath the surface of thought into a space that was spacious, steady, and awake. There was a sense of being held from within, as if awareness itself was breathing me. A soft clarity emerged, not dramatic, but deeply real — a reminder that peace isn’t something we create; it’s something we return to. I end this meditation feeling lighter, clearer, and more connected to what truly matters.
