You don't have to do anything,

And let us begin with three steadying deep breaths.
Breathing in and breathing out and breathing in and out,
Releasing any tension now.
One more time in and letting go in your time.
And just notice your breath once again in its natural rhythm as you let go into the calm and peace and the relaxation flowing through you now.
We're going to release a little shame,
A little regret as we begin our process today.
And so let us now draw attention to the tender heart of your inner child.
Where you find pain,
Be gentle.
Where there is fear,
Feel the kindness.
And just see or feel their presence now.
I am sorry for anything that hurt you.

You are allowed to make mistakes,
For mistakes are simply language of learning and you are meant to learn.
You are allowed to be human,

It is natural to gently let the past go.
It is nature at her most loving,
Helping us to release what may have held us back in pain.
It is you loving and taking care of your inner child.
Notice all tensions and shame just dissolving as would mist in the morning sun.
You never needed to earn love,
You only needed to be loved.
Taking care of you is my gift to give and I love to give it.
I am here for you.
And wrap your inner child gently in a blanket of light,
Soft,
Warm and kind.
This is the self-care you needed at its deepest level,
Nurturing the parts of you that so long to be seen and heard and loved.

Let us invite even more truth in.
