Start your day with presence, softness, and grounded clarity. This short morning meditation guides you into your body and breath, helping you arrive in yourself before the world asks anything of you. In just a few minutes, you’ll reset your nervous system, soften tension, and reconnect with the calm strength that’s already within you. This practice is gentle, clear, and beginner-friendly - perfect for mornings when you want to feel centered but don’t have a lot of time. Think of it as a quiet moment to return to yourself before you begin again. Small moments like this change everything - they shift how we move, choose, respond, and show up for the day ahead. You deserve to begin your morning with intention, not urgency. Come breathe, soften, and rise.

Ground rising,

My friends.

Grab a seat wherever is comfortable,

Or just slow down wherever you are.

Take this time for yourself.

Invite yourself inward,

Officially.

And know that you're setting yourself up for a truly amazing day.

Start by noticing your breath.

Is it flowing?

Or is it a bit constructed?

Notice your body as you settle into your seat,

Or your feet if you're standing.

Letting the ground rise to meet you.

And see how that lengthens your spine,

And inspires you to hold yourself up.

Naturally,

Through the strength of the back body,

From the earth rising to meet you.

And how the heart opens when the back is strong.

Allow your heart to soften,

Your mind to be at ease.

And just keep witnessing your breath.

Without trying to change it.

Relax your jaw,

Your forehead,

Your temples.

Relax the space behind your eyes.

Let your shoulders roll away from the ears.

Let your elbows grow heavy.

Say to yourself,

I am here.

And I will have an incredible day.

Slowly begin to draw out the exhales.

Slowly,

Slowly,

Slowly releasing any stagnant air from the night before.

And let your next inhale completely revive you,

Refill you,

And cleanse you.

And with each exhale,

A release,

A surrender.

Let's do a few together.

Inhaling.

Pausing before the exhale.

And just dropping into the exhale.

Let's do that again.

Inhaling,

Expanding,

Pausing,

And releasing.

Slowly,

Fully pulling out all of your air.

Continue breathing.

And let yourself feel the peace of this moment.

As the present moment delights that you're here,

Consciously breathing within it.

As your inner paradise has called you home,

And now here you are.

As you've set yourself up for an amazing day.

Give yourself the credit and the gratitude for everything you've done that has led to this place of peace,

Of surrender,

And of expanding your sense of mindfulness.

Take as much time as you need in this space.

Letting your breath nourish you.

When your body holds you,

The floor rise up to meet you.

The whole day awaiting you,

To bring you joy,

To bring you peace,

To bring you unexpected opportunity.

And whenever you're ready,

You can return to your moving,

And living,

And exciting day.

By wiggling the fingers and toes,

And slowly patting open the eyelashes.

Thank you for joining me for this ground-rising meditation.

I hope your days are filled with unexpected miracles and bliss.

Namaste.
