Welcome to permission to pause.
Settle into your seat.
Connect to your breath.
Notice your physical sensations.
Awaken your observer mind.
During this meditation,
If you experience any heaviness,
Allow a sense of weight to be lifted.
If you notice any darkness,
Allow light to enter in.
If you notice any darkness,
Allow light to enter in.
Allow time to slow down.
Notice the space in between the breaths.
Set your attention on your third eye,
The space in between your eyebrows.
Imagine at the front of your forehead is a control center and through the center of your forehead that you can look out and set your gaze,
Set your drishti on one spot.
Soften the muscles around the eye sockets.
Let your eyes focus on one spot.
Keep your eyes open or if it's relaxing,
Shut your eyes and keep a singular focus with a literal spot that you're looking at in front of you or with your eyes closed,
Imagine one dot.
One point of focus.
Letting any clutter,
Any busyness,
Any distractions to fall away.
Eyes focused,
Mind focused.
An easy breath,
Permission to pause.
Time and space to slow down.
Relax.
Calm the nervous system.
If there is a sense of heaviness,
Allow any weight to be lifted.
Where you experience darkness,
Allow light to enter in.
Where you might experience tightness,
Allow a softening,
A tenderness,
Compassion.
Relax.
With the stillness of the body and the slowing down of the mind,
Listen to what intention would you like to set in this moment.
To set your sankalpa,
To send your energy to what is important to you in this moment.
Relax.
The soft gaze of your drishti,
Where you literally set your eyes on one spot,
Visualize your intention as if it's manifested already in this moment.
Now shift your gaze back toward yourself.
Imagine that you could see your face,
Your entire body.
Observe the rise and fall of your breath.
Observe if there is any tension in the forehead,
In the eyes,
The cheeks,
The jaw,
The mouth,
The lips,
The ears,
The neck,
The shoulders.
Observe the entire body and ask the body to soften and relax.
Notice if there is any heaviness or tightness in the body,
Allow a weight to be lifted.
Allow any tension to dissolve.
Allow yourself to invite in light.
Breathe in light up and down your spine.
And from within,
Imagine that every single cell of your being is touched by this light,
This healing light.
And from within,
This light radiates,
Radiates through the bones,
The muscles,
The skin,
The cells,
Out the pores,
Until you can notice a glow and a radiance in your entire body.
In this space and time,
To pause,
Allow heaviness and weight to be lifted.
Allow light to permeate deep within.
Take five more breaths.
Connect to your intention.
See yourself filled with light.
Experience lightness.
Welcome calm.
And connect to what is divine,
What is sacred.
Breathe in gratitude.
Sigh in,
Let anything go.
Palms together at Anjali Mudra,
Prayer hands.
Let your thumbs touch into your heart space.
Breathe in gratitude.
Sigh out compassion.
Thumbs in between your eyebrows to your third eye.
The gratitude in me honors the gratitude in you.
Namaste.
