Namaskaram.
I'm Ananya and this practice is called let go of what you cannot control.
There is a certain kind of tiredness that sleep does not fix.
It comes from holding too much for too long,
Trying to keep things steady,
Trying to make things go a certain way,
Trying to prevent what hasn't even happened yet.
And slowly,
Without realizing it,
The body begins to carry what the mind cannot control.
The mind believes that if it keeps thinking,
Keeps planning,
Keeps tightening its grip,
It can create safety.
But the body does not feel safe in control.
It feels safe when it is allowed to soften.
So for the next few moments,
You are not here to hold anything together.
There is nothing to manage,
Nothing to solve,
Nothing to figure out.
Gently allow your body to settle.
Let the shoulders draw as if they no longer need to carry the weight.
Let the jaw soften,
The space behind the eyes relax.
The breath move naturally.
Notice the breath without changing it,
Just observing how it rises and falls.
And now bring to mind something you have been trying to control,
Not forcing it,
Just letting it appear.
It could be a situation,
A person,
An outcome,
Or even your own thoughts.
And gently ask yourself,
Is this truly in my control?
Not partially,
Not indirectly,
But completely.
If the answer is no,
Then notice what happens in the body when you stop holding it.
Imagine placing it down,
Like setting a heavy bag on the ground.
You don't push it away.
You don't resist it.
You simply stop carrying it.
Feel the difference.
The breath softens,
The chest opens just slightly.
There is more space inside you.
There is a natural intelligence within life itself.
Things move,
Shift,
Resolve,
Often without force.
Control creates tension.
Trust creates space.
And in that space,
The body begins to feel safe again.
If the mind tries to return to gripping,
To solving,
Gently remind it,
Not everything needs me right now.
Let the breath deepen just slightly.
And with each exhale,
Feel yourself releasing just a little more.
Nothing is being lost.
You are simply returning to ease.
Stay here,
Resting,
Without control.
And when you're ready,
Gently bring awareness back to the body,
To the breath,
To this moment.
There is nothing you need to hold that life cannot carry with you.
