Coming back home to yourself.
All too often we can find ourselves caught up in the mist of the world around us,
And even the world within us,
That we can lose ourselves in this moment.
In this guided meditation,
I invite you to disconnect from your mind in order to reconnect with your body and soul,
So that you can come back home to yourself,
So that you can find that peace and tranquility within,
And feel that feeling of being very much at home.
Let's start by taking a deep breath in through the nose,
And out through your mouth,
In through your nose,
And out through your mouth.
And allow yourself to just become present in this moment.
Any thoughts that come into your mind,
Allow them to float away into the distance,
As you allow yourself to become connected with this very moment in time.
Release yourself from any conditions,
Patterns,
And beliefs that you may hold about yourself in this moment.
Allow them to dissolve as you become present in who you are,
As you notice that feeling of being at home,
Knowing that feeling comes from within,
If only you allow yourself to become connected to it in each and every moment.
Let's begin by taking a journey.
Imagine standing in a beautiful golden field.
Listen to the sounds of the birds.
Feel the wind on your face,
And the earth beneath your feet.
Allow yourself to feel connected to nature.
Allow yourself to slowly walk through this field,
Feeling that connection with Mother Earth,
Feeling that connection with yourself and your soul,
Knowing that you feel free in this very moment.
Relax,
Let go,
And just allow yourself to be.
As you walk through this field,
Notice the earth on your feet,
And the grass beneath your feet.
Feel it,
Connect with it,
And allow yourself to feel more connected with Mother Earth in this moment.
Know that home is not a location,
Home is that feeling you connect with within,
Where you feel that peace and tranquility in the moment.
Just like that peaceful serenity that you can allow yourself to reconnect with as you find yourself in moments of stillness.
Disconnect from your mind and your thoughts,
And reconnect with your body and your soul.
As you walk slowly through nature,
Allow yourself to connect with the heartbeat of Mother Earth,
Knowing that you are connected with her,
As she is connected with you,
And we are all connected with one another.
As you feel that and connect with that,
Notice that feeling of being at home with yourself,
With your surroundings,
That familiarity you have within,
That connection with each and everyone,
And even all of the aspects of Mother Earth and Spirit,
As we are connected to the universe and each and everyone that exists within it.
Slowly walk through this field and notice a forest before you.
As you walk into the forest,
Notice there are two paths.
The one on the left is the road that is paved for you,
And the trail to your right is one that has never been walked before.
Allow yourself to take that road less travelled.
It may have some unique bends and turns,
But as you take this road,
You allow yourself to connect with your soul and find your own truth.
This is where you will find and follow your own bliss,
As you come back home to yourself.
Take that road less travelled at your own pace.
Notice the joy in each and every moment of allowing yourself to be who you truly are,
Knowing that your path is unique to you and it will unfold just as it meant to,
As you take that journey back home.
Allow yourself to find peace in moments of change,
In moments of transition,
Knowing that this feeling of being at home is found within.
If only you allow yourself to notice that feeling as you slow down and connect with the now.
This is the beauty of you that is waiting to be seen in each and every moment.
Allow yourself for a moment to stop,
Relax,
Connect with yourself and just notice who you are.
Feel that contentment within,
That peace,
That tranquility in the knowing that you are perfect just the way you are.
Allow yourself to honour the beauty that is you because that is your place of home.
In a moment we will slowly come out of this beautiful and tranquil meditation.
Allow yourself to bring that beautiful sense of peace,
Tranquility and that feeling of being at home with you.
Open your eyes and allow yourself to be still connected with the now,
With the present moment.
As you notice the joy in each and every moment and experience,
As you connect with this day and this moment in time.
