Hi,

I'm Angela.

And today I will walk you through a loving kindness meditation,

Where we will focus on amplifying love.

Let's begin by finding a comfortable space to meditate in.

Maybe you want to sit on the floor with a cushion underneath you and cross your legs.

Maybe your legs will be straight forward.

Or maybe you'll sit in a chair with your feet planted on the ground.

Once you find your comfortable space,

Begin by straightening your back as if someone is pulling a string at the top of your head.

We do this because wisdom flows from our back,

Up and down our spine.

Beginning to breathe in and out of our nostrils in a nice natural breath.

Rolling our shoulders up and back,

Releasing any tension and finding a nice level space for our shoulders to fall.

Relaxing our eyebrows,

Softening our cheekbones,

Releasing our jaw bone,

Relaxing our shoulders.

Allowing our hands to lay on our thighs,

Palms up for receptivity,

Palms down to ground ourselves.

Relaxing our hips,

Our legs,

Relaxing our fingers and our toes,

Checking back in with our breath.

Beginning to imagine an object that brings you great joy,

Something that really fills your heart with love when you think about it,

Something that brings a smile to your face.

It could be a person or an animal or an object.

Thinking about what it is about that object that brings you so much joy and makes you feel so loved.

Allowing that feeling to travel through your body up to the top of your head,

Breathing in and out of the nostrils and allowing that emotion and that feeling to then travel down into the lower parts of your body,

Your chest cavity and your core,

Your legs.

Allow it to radiate through your fingers and your toes.

Bringing the mind to all of the reasons that this object makes you feel so loved.

If it helps,

Maybe you imagine this feeling in your body as a color.

Maybe it's a white light,

Possibly a pink light.

Bringing your mind back to the reasons and the object that brings this joy,

This smile to your face.

Check in with the breath.

Allowing this feeling to radiate outside of your body and expand as if there's a glowing light around you of love,

Of joy,

Of happiness.

Seeing this emotion throughout your body expanding from the tips of your toes all the way up to the top of your head,

Surrounding your body.

Smiling,

Breathing,

Feeling joy.

Radiating love,

Amplifying it throughout your whole body and all around.

Now bringing that thought of that object that brings you joy into your heart center.

Knowing that throughout the day it is there for you to tap into.

And any time you need it,

And any time you need to spread love,

It is available to you right there in your heart center.

Beginning to wiggle your fingers and your toes.

When you're ready,

You can open your eyes and you can begin to spread love throughout the day.
