Welcome to this guided meditation.
My name is Angela and today we will be doing a mini meditation.
Closing your eyes and settling in,
Give yourself permission to take rest and get grounded.
Take a moment to pause.
Wherever you are,
Whether you're sitting at a desk,
Or in your parked car,
Or sitting outside,
Allow yourself these next few minutes to reset.
Close your eyes and bring your attention inward.
Take a slow deep breath in through your nose and gently exhale through your mouth.
Let go of any tension as you breathe out.
Again,
Inhale deeply,
Feeling your belly expand and exhale slowly,
Releasing tension.
One more time,
Breathing in calm and exhale out any heaviness or tension.
Now let your breath settle into a natural rhythm.
Simply notice the inhale and notice the exhale.
There is nowhere to be but here in this moment.
As you breathe,
Imagine roots growing from the base of your spine or the soles of your feet,
Grounding you to the earth.
Feel the steady support beneath you.
With each inhale,
Gather calm and clarity.
With each exhale,
Release tension,
Letting it melt away.
If thoughts arise,
Acknowledge them gently and then return your attention back to your breath,
Anchoring yourself in the present moment.
Now bring your awareness back to your body.
Wiggle your fingers and your toes.
Notice how you feel.
Take one final deep breath in and exhale slowly.
Gently open your eyes,
Feeling refreshed,
Calm and ready to move through the rest of your day with ease.
Come back and visit this space anytime you need a quick break in the middle of an overwhelming day.
