This meditation has been created to help you feel a deep sense of calm and safety in putting yourself first. How often do we put others before ourselves only to experience burnout? Far too often. When we focus on the breath and empowering statements we move further away from the troubles of our day, and this is our intention with this meditation. It is OK to put yourself first and to go about your day feeling more confident The guided meditation with its prompts for breathing coupled with affirmative statements is your permission slip to lean into a joyful state unencumbered by the burdens of life. Let's begin by getting into a comfortable position,

Seated or lying down.

Now place your hands on your heart and begin to breathe deeply,

Inhaling and exhaling.

Slowly letting go of any tension and stress,

Breathing in and out.

As you do so,

Connect with your emotions of what it feels like to be carefree,

Safe,

Creative,

Joyful and free.

Connect with feelings of joyfulness and freedom.

Gently breathing in joy and let go of any tension you may be feeling with each exhale.

The problems of others are not yours to bear.

You are enough.

You are safe as you are.

You are enough.

You are safe.

You are safe.

Breathing in and out.

In and out.

You are enough.

You are safe.

There is nothing to fix.

You are enough.

Gently breathing in and out.

In and out.

You are safe.

You are enough.

Breathing in and breathing out any tension.

Breathing in joy,

Peace and love.

Bring your attention back to the room and softly open your eyes.
