Welcome to the Full Moon Meditation.
The Full Moon is a time of manifestation.
Previously,
You set up intentions and goals and now is the time for things to become real.
Now is the time to take actions and make your life happen.
Just like the moon,
You are at the peak of your cycle.
You're prepared and planned so that when the time comes,
You are ready for battle.
The time is now.
Get comfortable and find a quiet place where you won't be disturbed during your meditation.
You could burn incense or diffuse essential oil and you could use crystals.
Close your eyes and bring back your attention to the physical sensation of your body.
Feel the contact of your feet on the ground and the weight of your hands resting on your legs or next to you.
Focus your attention on the movement of your breath.
As you breathe in and out,
Your body moves.
Your lungs expand with each inhale and deflate with each exhale.
The air enters your body through your nose,
Slightly cold.
And as it travels in your throat and down to your lungs,
Your belly moves,
Your shoulders may be moving.
You exhale and the air is pushed back out.
And as it comes out,
You notice the air is slightly warmer.
Let your attention take you with your breath at your own pace.
Picture in your mind's eyes the full moon.
See the round sphere high up in the sky.
She is shining bright of a soft white light.
She is round and full,
Filled with energy.
During this meditation,
Try to keep her in your sight.
Feel the light of the moon growing brighter and reaching to the top of your head.
And as it reaches the top of your head,
It starts to fill you up.
Like if you were an empty vase,
You feel the light of the moon flowing into you,
Until your body is entirely filled with her bright white light.
You slowly absorb the energy of the full moon and you feel the light penetrating in your body and its intensity starting to fade away.
The light is inside of you.
The full moon is all within you.
Now is the time to take action.
What is it that you need to do to achieve your goals?
How can you make your dreams come true?
What can you add,
Change or stop doing to live the life you want and deserve?
What is it that will allow you to turn thoughts into action?
What inner work is needed to free you from your past trauma?
What action do you need to take?
Now it is time for action.
Slowly let your thoughts quiet down.
Let your mind rest for a few seconds.
Let all that energy flow away from you.
Let go of the thoughts and release them to the full moon.
Come back to your breath.
Pay attention to each inhale and exhale.
Feel the air coming in through your nose,
Travelling down the throat and inflating your lungs.
And as you exhale,
The air is pushed back up and out.
Focus your attention on each inhale,
Filling your lungs absorbing all the energy around you,
Filling you with what you need and exhale the doubts that came out during the session.
Inhale filling your lungs with air,
Visualizing the air being distributed to all your body and exhale pushing the air out.
Let go of the attention on the breath and come back to your physical sensation of your body sitting still.
Feel the air on your skin.
Is it cold or warm?
Can you hear anything?
Can you smell or taste anything?
Feel the contact of your clothes against your skin,
The contact of the floor on your feet.
Come back to your position in the room where you are,
To the present moment.
Come to the here and now.
And when you are ready,
You can open your eyes.
And when you have time,
Journal on what came up during this meditation.
