It is through breath and mindful awareness of the heart that we are able to access an expanded essence of love, compassion and gratitude, empowering us to be the change we wish to see in the world through our beacon of light.

Hello and welcome to this heart centered guided meditation.

I invite you to delve deep into your heart space today as we place awareness on the power of our breath when it is centered into this beautiful space of compassion,

Gratitude,

And love.

Relax the mind and body,

Allowing yourself to drop right into this present moment.

Upon dropping in,

Draw your awareness to the breath,

Placing emphasis on the inhale and the exhale that follows.

Easily and effortlessly arrive into a comfortable seated position with hands resting on your lap for now.

You can choose to close your eyes or maintain a soft open gaze.

Inhale in and on a slow exhale,

Pulling your shoulders down away from your ears,

Unclenching your jaw,

Relaxing your forehead.

Inhale in again,

And on your next slow and steady exhale,

Grant yourself permission to let go.

Allowing every aspect of your body to soften completely and fully into the floor or chair you are sitting on.

Trusting that this surface will fully support the weight of your body in its entirety.

As you surrender further into a place of stillness,

Focus on the area in your chest where your heart lies.

This harmonious heart of yours that never stops beating.

And that unifies and connects mind,

Body,

And soul as one.

Pausing from what seems to be the constant thoughts of life's mundane routine,

Center your awareness into this heart space.

Taking a few moments to simply observe the rise and fall of your chest as it expands on the inhale and releases on the exhale.

Allow your heart to lead rather than your mind.

Anytime the mind begins to wander,

Lovingly directing and guiding your attention back to the powerful beating of your heart without judgment.

I invite you now to place one or both of your hands on your heart to really feel and observe this sensation of your heart beating.

Becoming aware of its ever flowing rhythm against the palm of your hand.

Exhaling deeply into the center,

Feel the breath expanding and opening your heart as a beautiful white light begins to fill your entire heart space.

Holding at the top and exhaling out.

Aligning with this expanded heart center through the awareness of your breath.

Visualizing this radiant white light glowing even brighter.

Again taking a slow and steady inhale,

Feeling the expansion of your heart and chest.

Holding for a few seconds at the top and then releasing the exhale.

As you continue to breathe deeply,

Visualizing this radiant light replenishing mind,

Body,

And soul.

Celebrate the fact that you are here and mindfully present in this moment.

Feel and observe the love,

Compassion,

And gratitude that is emanating out from your heart in the form of light as it fully expands and fills every cell of your body.

Amplifying and purifying your entire being.

Allow this essence of love,

Compassion,

And gratitude to radiate brightly outward.

Sending positive energy and vibes out to the entire collective.

Inhaling lots of love and light in.

Exhaling lots of love and light out.

Inhaling love and light in.

Exhaling light and love out.

Arriving back into the space you are in,

Gently wiggling the fingers and toes.

If your eyes are closed you can blink them open.

I invite you to carry this heart centered awareness with you throughout your day to day.

Knowing that love,

Compassion,

And gratitude is always present within you and can be activated at any time with mindful awareness of the breath even in the most emotionally difficult of times.

Allow yourself to be the source of light that shines through the darkness.

Seeing the change you wish to see in the world through this beacon of light.

The love and light that is within me honors the love and light that is within you.
