Allison Terrell is a board-certified music therapist, published researcher, adjunct professor, and business owner. Since 2014, she's worked as a music therapist with infants to people facing end-of-life in hospitals, private practice, rehabilitation clinics, schools, and retirement communities. It's through these experiences that she's learned how to facilitate meaningful experiences for others through music. The power of music exists in all of us, and with it is the potential for healing, growth, connection, and peace. "I sang my way through childhood and adolescence and was only quiet when my grandfather sat me down to listen to a classical piece of music on his radio; I would sit and watch him close his eyes and gently move his head to the music as he seemed to enter into the music itself. It’s through these experiences that I learned how to recognize, embrace, and experience the power of music."

One of the best box breathing exercises I've done. Thank you. Nice not doing the counting, it can make me anxious.

This was wonderful. As I start out I have to breathe in for three seconds and hum for seven. I will keep practicing. Thanks again 🙏.

I love the music and the little tapping I’ve done Box breathing before, but not with the little visualization and the little tapping of the music .. that was playful and made it less stressful

This exercise works really well for me. It’s very helpful when I need to relax and forget about things for a while, particularly negative thoughts. Thank you!
