This track can be used as a dawn practice before you get up for the day ahead,
Or it can be used between midwinter and early spring,
As the year is slowly becoming lighter and there is a promise of new life in the air.
Let's begin.
I invite you to lay down if you are not already.
Notice your own particular balance between sleep and wakefulness that you are experiencing in this moment,
And breathe.
Imagine the dawn is just breaking.
Notice the feeling of light washing over you,
Gently warming and waking yourselves,
And with that awakening comes gratitude for being here,
In this life,
Whatever else is in your awareness at this early point of unfurling.
What do you want to offer the world today?
What do you want from the day?
And how do you want to show up?
Notice how you feel about what this day,
Or the year ahead,
Has in waiting for you.
I invite you to get curious about those feelings.
What mix of feelings are in there?
Which of those feelings do you welcome?
And which make you feel uncomfortable?
If there are any feelings there that you would like to shift,
Or evolve into some other experience,
What do you want to feel instead?
And what needs to happen in you for you to enable that shift?
And into that shift,
Into any acceptance of feelings that may feel uncomfortable,
And into any of those feelings that you want to feel more of,
Breathe into them,
As if you are fanning the embers of a fire that you want to bring to light,
With love and intention.
Notice the sensations,
And notice,
Perhaps like a cauldron of ingredients,
Collecting for magic.
Notice how all those feelings could work well together for you to find your best way.
And as you allow yourself to feel,
Take a moment to check in with your capacity,
And acknowledge what is doable on this day,
Or at this point in your year.
However you are feeling,
I invite you to go into your heart space,
And gift yourself grace.
Grace for however you feel,
Wherever you're at,
And however the day goes.
Then from there,
Breathe into your heart space,
Breathe into that feeling of grace,
And ease that feeling outwards,
So that it travels throughout you,
Gently encouraging that wakefulness to rise,
Just like the sun,
Bringing energy,
Clarity and motion.
As it travels throughout you,
Let your body stretch,
Unfurl,
And move in the way it wants to,
Gradually taking it towards the dawn,
And the possibilities it brings.
