Here, we will take two minutes to allow everything to be exactly as it is, including yourself. This is the ancient art of "wu wei," which can be translated as action by inaction, doing by non-doing, or simply non-forcing. The practice of non-practice. If you will, please take this permission to be just as you are for two minutes of your entire life. And if you like, you can connect this with my 83-day course on the Tao Te Ching, titled Tao Te Ching Mastery. The principle of wu wei is at the very heart of the Tao.

Wu-wei can be translated as non-forcing,

Doing by not doing,

Action by inaction.

So here's permission to be exactly as you are,

And to allow everything to be exactly as it is,

For just two minutes,

Starting now.

Now,

In a moment,

You'll hear this sound again in three,

Two,

One.

Wu-wei,

Non-forcing,

Doing by not doing,

Action by inaction.

I look forward to doing this with you again,

Whenever the time is right.

I'll see you then.

The time was right this morning (Feb 4, 2026) for a lovely respite from chasing thoughts; grateful just to Be.

Ideal for using in tandem with the Tao. Happy to have this as each day I have been looking for something to center me. Perfect!

Thank you. Short but powerful. I have completed 2 of your courses, 83 days of the Tao Te Cheng and the one to learn tools for responding without reactivity. Great courses and very helpful.

Thank you, Charles. Wu-Wei is my sanctuary of action through non-action β€” the sacred space for my Being. In that Infinite Silence, I remember exactly who I AM. I cherish it… and I look forward to meeting you there again. πŸ€πŸ™πŸ•ŠοΈπŸŒ»
