So many are being called upon to work for the Greater Good right now. Many have to risk their lives to help save others. It is like going to the Garden of Gethsemane and making that hard decision that Christ made. This is a talk and practice on Easter and the sacrifices we make and choosing what is the best way to serve.

Aloha,

I'm Reverend Cindy Palos and it's getting close to Easter time.

And I would like to go through a mystical journey and look at the process of what's going on in the world right now,

And then compare it to what's going on and what has been going on for a long time,

When we decide whether we're going to do what we want to do or what's really for the greater good.

Because when it comes down to it,

If we look at all of our lives,

We have a chance to learn a lot of lessons and I believe in God's eyes.

This is like a playground,

Lessons,

We're out there playing,

Learning our lessons in the playground.

And then at one point,

You know,

We're asked to come inside,

You know,

To grow up,

To get serious,

To do what's really important in life.

But we like playing,

We don't want to come in.

And so then we have to make that decision.

Are we going to come in and get serious and do what we need to do in our lives?

Are we going to continue in the playground and close our eyes to the higher reality and the greater good?

And I think that this is what Christ went through.

If you think of Palm Sunday,

He was at the height of everyone applauding him and,

You know,

Waving the palm leaves and finally getting recognized and all throngs loving him and praising him.

He had healed the people he'd been recognized.

Of course,

When you get to that point where you are really finally that big,

You become a threat.

And we know this when we look at many of our great teachers,

Of course,

Have been killed and assassinated,

You know.

We look at Gandhi,

We look at JFK,

We look at Martin Luther King,

You know,

We go through so many people who get to that point where they're a threat and they get killed.

So there's always this thing that if you're gonna get really serious about trying to do some good and to wake people up and and then if you take the path of Christ to come to enlighten the world and to tell people to love each other,

To turn the other cheek and you're called the King of Kings,

Definitely that's a threat to many and it's still scorned and many people do not really want to even talk about it.

And there's many ways to practice.

I practice the mystical path by going inside and trying to make that inner connection to that light of lights,

That eternal light of God,

Which the Christ held and carried and used his life as an example for us to follow.

And other teachers have,

You know,

And I believe that all paths will lead to that one light,

But the Christ light,

Having experienced it and followed it in many ways,

The love that you feel and the path of love and the teachings are so transcendent and so powerful and so enlightened that I have always held that light in the highest.

And I'm seeing what we're going through right now in the world with COVID-19 and how our lives have been changed and we can't pretend that this isn't affecting everyone in the world.

And for me I see it almost as that moment in the Garden of Gethsemane where after all of that celebration and that amazing love and the recognition,

Then it got to the point where it came down to Christ fulfilling his destiny.

And I believe,

100%,

I believe that Christ knew when he came in what was going to happen.

He knew his mission and the people around him knew the mission as well.

His mother and his grandparents and the Essenes all knew that this was to take place.

And when you get to that point where you can heal people and he could heal himself and he could remove himself if he wished to,

But he had to fulfill his path and his destiny.

And may I just equate this to what we see in the world right now with the doctors and the nurses and the people who are out there,

The firefighters,

The fire personnel,

The police department,

The police personnel,

The ones that are really putting themselves in the way of danger.

Many of their lives have actually been taken.

They know going into work that they could catch this virus.

Many doctors and nurses have died and it's sad that so many have not even been able to be celebrated because there's such a mass of death going on that we haven't even been able to properly recognize their sacrifice.

But they definitely have been sacrificing themselves for the greater good.

And they could have said,

No I'm not going to go into work,

You know,

This is just too dangerous.

But they choose to do and to serve the higher good to help people.

And when Christ went to the Garden of Gethsemane,

He had to really ponder this and he did ask God if this is really the cup,

The poison actually,

That he had to drink.

Was this really the way he had to go knowing that he could get out of it?

But knowing also that this was going to be by giving up his own life,

That this was going to help so many find that they can actually choose to find that light body that lives forever,

That higher Christ consciousness that overcomes death.

And this was part of the plan and if he had not followed that plan,

He also knew that this whole unfolding of the way of his teachings would never be spread the way that it was spread over the last 2,

000 plus years.

I wrote this poem called the Garden of Gethsemane.

As we feel the love God has for this world and the love the Christ had to face,

We come to a place where we need to go to see the problems that we must embrace.

For in this world of God's creation,

Where spirit is alive in form,

We find at some point we encounter the lines between light and dark are formed.

Perhaps we've hidden from the Garden of Gethsemane.

Perhaps we were asleep when we knew the pain.

Perhaps we had to feel that we had to be free.

Yet in a moment of wonder and love,

There comes to each life a chance to face our destiny.

And also that moment where we kneel and we pray for those who cannot yet see.

And in that moment in the Garden of Gethsemane,

We encounter the cross we must bear.

For what being human means,

We each might find ourselves one night there.

For this earth can be heaven and this earth can be hell.

But it's all a part of God's creation where the dark and the light do dwell.

Along the path we're given here,

There's free will where we can choose to face the pain we fear.

And when we choose to love people,

We take an action where in truth we cannot lose.

Many heroes and many saints have had this choice to make.

And there are those who choose to hide from the world and all the problems it creates.

Still we face the pain that it takes to live here and reside.

We go to the Garden of Gethsemane where we make that choice to release all judgment and let God be in control.

And we have great forgiveness and compassion for those who do not understand that there is a greater purpose that is alive in God's plan.

And right now if we were looking at that Garden of Gethsemane,

If we were there having to make that choice,

As many people are having to make that choice right now,

Are you gonna put your life on the line?

Are you going to give yourself to the greater good?

Are you gonna follow God's will?

Are you gonna let go of the ego and let God be in control?

These are hard questions we're facing right now.

But at the same time there's never been more people who have prayed,

Who have really searched their soul,

Who have been looking to find answers.

And even when they don't find the answers they surrender and try to find that faith and hope,

That place inside where you go beyond and you find that unknown and you accept it.

Now let's go into that place inside.

Let's breathe in deeply and let's imagine ourselves right now in that Garden of Gethsemane where we have to find our peace inside in spite of the hard choices.

Where we have this time to not hold back but to give 100% of ourselves right now to that light,

To that enlightenment,

To that reason and the inspiration for us to go on.

Let's breathe in that light in the count of three,

Hold for two and breathe out that peace that comes to the count of three.

Breathing in to the count of three,

Breathing in that love,

Holding for two seconds and breathing out to the count of three,

Breathing love out.

Let's experience the redemption that comes when we turn inside.

Let's experience that place where we can come to terms with what's inside us and what's outside us.

Breathing in that light of our soul,

Breathing it out,

Letting it fill our mind,

Our heart with a ha,

Ha the breath.

Breathing in the presence,

Holding for a second and breathing out that love with a ha into our heart and going deeper and deeper and deeper within past the illusion,

Past the darkness,

Leaving that all behind to that inner moment of truth where we face the face of God,

Face to face.

Breathing in that place where our soul merges with that spirit so we can experience that purpose,

That greater purpose that we have come here for.

Let's give ourselves right now 100% to that enlightened state where we wake up to a ready to give past all the illusions,

To a ready to understand that we can be resurrected,

We can indeed in a light body live eternally and that our soul is eternal.

Breathe in the reality that you are eternal right now and be here in the light of the eternal,

The love of the eternal,

The Christed consciousness.

Feel that light filling every single part of your mind,

Your body,

Your beingness and just be with your inner self and be with God right now.

Allow yourself to surrender,

To let go of your ego and be in the mind that God holds,

Be in the mind that Christ turned himself over to right now.

Understand that power to trust and have faith in God when everything seems like it's questioning you as to why.

Breathe in the release to just let yourself be in that light and love of God.

Just be here now in that light and love and find the strength that comes in accepting God's will.

Find the strength and love that comes when people decide to dedicate themselves to help.

Let's send our light and love to those who are giving their lives right now for the greater good.

Go to that place within where you can send them your love,

Your appreciation,

The ones who are indeed heroes and now to all the ones who've sacrificed their lives throughout time for what is right,

For that higher light.

Send that love out to Christ right now and allow that love to come back to you 100 fold.

Allow yourself to be enlightened by the Christ light.

Breathe it in and breathe it out.

Breathe it in and be still and know that you are God.

Feel that I am,

That I am presence coming to you and strengthen you.

And now slowly allow yourself to come out of meditation with the recognition that there is always this choice you can make to serve,

To work for the higher good,

That you have a purpose and we all can share that love and compassion with the world.

And I thank you for being here and spending time in the Garden of Gethsemane for being in the light and for sharing and serving that light and love.

God bless you always.
