
Blissed Out: Make Peace and Heal

Today we deeply relax and bliss out. This meditation is designed to get us feeling good, from the inside out.
Transcript
Welcome to your blissed out meditation.
Sometimes we just want to feel good from the inside out and you know what?
We deserve to.
Life is busy and full and feeling good is just as important if not more than our list of things to do.
So with that in mind,
Enjoy this deep relaxation as you bliss out.
Let us begin.
Ensure you are in a comfortable seat and your spine is supported.
Place your feet on the floor.
Rest your hands lightly in your lap.
Gently close your eyes.
With your eyes closed,
You can now begin to connect with your inner world of soul.
Gradually the external world will fade from your awareness.
Moving your attention inward and letting go of everything around you.
Every sound and every distraction.
For the next few minutes give yourself permission to fully enjoy this experience.
To bliss out and to relax.
You are free from all responsibilities at this time.
So put aside any thoughts,
Tasks or concerns that may be waiting for you.
None of that matters right here and right now.
If you find that your mind wanders during this meditation,
Simply bring your awareness back to the sound of my voice and I will guide you to a place of deep relaxation,
Inner stillness and bliss.
Now take a long,
Slow,
Deep breath in and release that breath slowly,
Exhaling.
Feel yourself relaxing.
Again take a long,
Slow,
Deep breath in and then let that breath go.
Feel yourself relaxing even more.
Take another deep breath in and exhale completely.
Notice how deeply relaxed and calm you feel now.
Notice how beautiful and calming it is to breathe in this way.
Breathing in slowly and deeply and letting go with each exhale.
Become aware of the feelings of relaxation that are beginning to spread throughout your whole body.
All the while continue to breathe slowly,
Deeply and gently.
With each breath you take,
Your thoughts become lighter.
They drift away.
They become irrelevant.
With each breath you take,
You may sense a feeling of spaciousness.
Breathe in,
Breathe out.
Relax now even further.
Be willing to embrace the feeling of bliss.
Allow the gentle movement of your breath to guide you into an even more relaxed state.
In and out and deeper you go.
In and out,
Allow your mind to gradually slow down all by itself.
In and out,
Be in a state of relaxation.
Breathe in and breathe out.
And now together we'll move into a guided journey to an inner place of serenity and bliss.
As I speak,
Just allow images to form in your mind naturally and in their own time.
If the mental pictures don't come easily to you,
Then simply sense your imagined surroundings rather than trying to see them.
Let go of all your expectations and allow yourself to experience this guided journey in whatever way comes naturally to you.
Breathe in and breathe out.
Now imagine that you are standing in a beautiful grassy field.
You can feel the warmth of the sun on your face and on your body.
You can feel the lush green grass.
It's soft beneath your bare feet.
You can hear the sounds of nature around you and you feel very much at home in this peaceful place and you have all the time in the world.
You feel safe and happy here.
You feel content.
Take a moment to appreciate your surroundings.
Take a moment to absorb your surroundings.
And now you notice a large tree growing nearby.
You begin to walk towards the tree.
Take your time,
Be in the moment and experience each step.
There is no rush.
As you walk,
Feel yourself slipping even more deeply into a state of total relaxation.
Now you find yourself standing beneath the tree.
Its strong branches and broad leaves hang right above your head.
As you gaze upon the tree,
You notice that the tree is covered in delicious fruits of many shapes,
Sizes and colors.
But this is no ordinary tree.
The fruits of this tree contain special powers.
Slowly you reach up and you take a piece of fruit from the tree.
Study it.
Notice the color,
The texture,
The weight of the piece of fruit.
And now you take a bite.
You take a bite and you chew on the delicious fruit.
And as the fruit slides down your throat and into your stomach,
Something wonderful begins to happen.
A feeling,
A feeling of happiness begins to grow deep inside you.
The sensation of this happiness begins in your stomach.
Happiness feels like elation,
Joy.
It spreads,
It spreads from your stomach into your chest and into your heart.
The warmth of this sensation spreads and intensifies.
As much as possible let go of thinking and concentrate on feeling.
And nurture the sensation of happiness and joy and love.
Feel yourself gently glowing with the warmth of this sensation.
Once again take another bite from the fruit.
Taste it,
Savor it.
And now the wonderful feeling intensifies a little more.
You feel yourself gently radiating this pleasant sensation of love and joy,
Of happiness and elation.
You feel the sensation move to every corner of your body,
Radiating out of you.
And now take a third bite of the fruit and take a fourth bite and take as much as you want.
Allow yourself to breathe gently and evenly as you spend a few moments sitting here content with this feeling.
Sitting here soaking in this feeling.
Let go of thinking and simply concentrate on the feeling.
Tune into the happiness,
The love,
The joy,
The elation.
Let the bliss of this feeling wash over you.
Breathe into the feeling and breathe it out.
It is no longer about the fruit.
It is about what the fruit has planted within you.
With each breath feel as if you were intensifying this feeling.
Encouraging it to grow and swell and rise up within you.
Breathe in and breathe out.
Relax even further.
Soften even more into the bliss.
Allow yourself to swell up with this delightful feeling.
Don't try and force it.
Don't try and control it.
Just let it be and let it rise effortlessly within you.
Allow it to increase as much as you feel comfortable with.
Breathe in and breathe out.
And now feel yourself seated in the chair that you are in.
Let go of the image of the tree and that beautiful grassy field.
But stay connected to these blissful feelings within you.
Enjoy a few moments where you are connected into the space that you are in but still connected to the feelings of happiness,
Joy,
Elation,
Bliss.
Take a long,
Slow,
Deep breath in now.
And open your mouth to exhale.
Let the feeling of gratitude for this sensation of happiness wash through you.
Give thanks that the feeling of happiness is something that you can cultivate within you.
And that the sensation of bliss is only a few moments away.
One last time take a deep breath in.
Open your mouth and exhale.
It is now time to leave this meditation.
Give your fingers and toes a wiggle.
Take your time to slowly open your eyes and come back to waking consciousness.

I don't know what happiness or bliss feels like these days. I'm very ill and in a lot of pain most of the time. I will listen to this again see if I can conjure up feelings of happiness and bliss . I think it would help me a lot. Thank you for your meditation.
