Whitaker is a former Coast Guard helicopter pilot and current mindfulness coach and founder of Cultivate. She is interested in translating the sometimes mystical-language of ancient contemplative traditions for modern inquisitors. Her teaching style is friendly, lighthearted, and a little bit irreverent. She is a Provisionally Qualified MBSR teacher with UCSD.
