Shabbat Shalom,
Peaceful,
Peaceful Shabbos to you.
Whether you come from a Jewish tradition or not,
Whether you come from a spiritual tradition or not,
Whether you come from a religious tradition or not,
There's a special time at the end of the week for rest.
And this meditation is designed for anybody who wants to dive into that energy to go deeper.
So before we get started,
Maybe gather up a lighter,
Some candles,
A little bit of sage,
Essential oils,
Whatever it is that your tradition calls for.
Whatever you want to add to your tradition.
Go ahead and get it ready now.
And let's begin our meditation by lighting some candles,
Lighting incense,
Whatever it is that you want to do.
Maybe there's a prayer that you want to say along with that.
Go ahead and take the time to get this part of your meditation ready.
And when you're ready with that part,
Go ahead and find a very comfortable seat.
I just ask that our spirit guides are with us during this meditation and that they guide us to the deepest moments of this special time of the week,
Whether it be Friday night,
Saturday morning or afternoon.
I know some people like to rest and relax on Sunday,
And other people maybe with a busy work week,
Maybe take one of the other days of the week to rest and relax and to have a little bit of ritual and meditation.
Sit comfortably.
Start to find your breath.
I want you to just take your breath and breathe in as deep as you can,
And then hold at the top.
And release.
Release.
This time breathing in and holding,
But I want you also just to bring your hands together and your feet together and your muscles and just clench all your muscles,
Breathing in,
Clenching your muscles,
Hold at the top.
Release it all at the bottom.
At the bottom.
Breathe in again,
Clenching everything.
And release.
Breathing in naturally.
Breathing out.
Breathing out.
I want you to imagine that there's a white light coming in from the bottom of your feet to the top of your head.
And going from the top of your head through your body to the bottom of your feet.
Breathing in the white light.
Breathing in the white light fills your toes and every corner of dark space in your feet and toes into your ankles filled with the white light.
Lower legs,
Your knees fill with light.
The tops of your legs fill with light.
Your hips fill with light.
Your chest,
Stomach,
Back and shoulders filled with the light.
Your shoulders,
Your arms,
Your elbows,
Your wrists,
Your hands.
Every finger is filled with the light of the creator.
Your hair,
Your neck,
Your throat,
Your face,
Your ears,
Your scalp,
Your eyes,
The top of your head,
All filled with the light of the creator.
Breathe in,
Let the whole light fill your body.
Breathe out,
Release any darkness that may have remained.
Let the light pulsate outside of your body.
So what was once inside and outside now just becomes full of light.
The room that you're in is filled with light.
The building that you are inhabiting is filled with light.
As you breathe in,
You just see the light expanding and growing to cover the town or city that you live in.
The region that you live in.
The part of the world that you live in is just filled with light.
As you breathe out,
Any darkness goes away.
Continue to fill the whole world with light.
Imagine the full light of the creator pulsating as you breathe in and out over our planet,
Our solar system,
And all of the planets and bodies,
Whether they be moons or stars,
In our galaxy and in our universe.
Let the light expand unlimitedly into all the universes.
Breathe in the light and breathe out the light.
Take a moment to find the back of your forehead or your mind's eye.
Draw the number 5 on the back of your mind.
Draw the number 4 on the back of your mind.
Draw the number 3 on the back of your mind.
Draw the number 2 on the back of your mind.
Draw the number 1 on the back of your mind as you go deeper and deeper into meditation.
Let's start this meditation with appreciation for the week that we're leaving behind and just focus on the best parts of your week.
So in the week that's just passed,
What were the most beautiful and sacred moments?
Give yourself a chance to just think about how beautiful it was.
If any negative moments come,
Just leave them and fill them with moments of gratitude,
Love,
And light.
Think about this moment of rest and just let your mind rest now.
Breathing in and out with no agenda.
The only agenda is to relax,
Leaving behind any negative fear or worry or anger.
The only work we do in this Shabbat or Sabbath or day of rest is the spiritual work we do that's full of love and gratitude.
So just keep breathing out any negativity or anger or worry that might pop in and breathing in the love,
The light,
The relaxation.
Of the Creator.
Into your mind's eye,
Please create a safe space for yourself to invite your spiritual team to work with you.
I imagine in my hands that I have like a white sparkly kind of dust or powder that I spread around the floor and I make a beautiful big circle to protect myself and invite my spiritual team inside of it.
When my circle is complete,
I step inside and I ask any family members,
My grandparents,
My abuelas and my abuelos my grandpa and my grandpa and my grandmas,
Guardian angels,
Anyone in my ancestry who has a message of healing or hope for me.
I invite my spiritual teachers,
Whether they be in living form or whether they be in a celestial form,
To step into the circle.
Any angels,
Any saints or teachers and of course I invite the Creator to step into the circle and be part of my spiritual team and I ask my spiritual team to just create a safe space for me to heal.
Maybe I have a question for my spiritual team that I put forward.
Maybe you have a question for your spiritual team that you want to ask on this sacred day of light in this sacred space of healing,
Of transformation,
Of change.
Maybe one or two of your spiritual teachers come in to touch you on your shoulders or your head to offer any healing that you need for your body,
For your mind,
For your spirit.
Maybe someone from your spiritual team has the answer to the question that you've been wondering,
Has a message for you from the other side.
Take a moment now to just be in this circle with your spiritual team.
The members of your spiritual team want to embrace you in whatever form that looks like for you,
Whether it be holding both your hands or hugging you or kissing your cheeks.
Your ancestors,
Your spiritual teachers want to just embrace you and love you.
And before the team starts to go away,
I ask my team,
And you can ask your team,
To let me see myself and to let you see yourself the way that they see you.
What does it look like when you live your life without any fears?
What does it look like when you live your life without any anger?
What does it look like when you live your life without self-judgment?
What does it look like when you live your life through the eyes of your spiritual team You are so beautiful.
You are so blessed.
You are so powerful.
You can ask your spiritual team to show you what the week will look like ahead,
Where you can share light,
Where you can share love,
Where you can share the blessings of this meditation practice with those around you.
Ask your spiritual team for any blessings or healings you may need.
Most importantly,
Ask your spiritual team to show you exactly with whom you can share the light this week.
Who in your life needs a little bit more love?
Who in your life may be feeling lonely or left apart from the group that you can bring them in?
You can make them feel welcomed.
Who in your life has just really felt down on their luck and you can share the blessings and glory of your life with them?
Ask your team to show you exactly how to share the light with these people or this person.
This person might be someone new in your life or this might be an old wound that's been hurting for years.
How does it get healed?
Take a moment to ask your spiritual team for any guidance as we start to end the meditation.
Express your gratitude to your whole spiritual team and one by one they all start to leave the circle.
But in the circle remain only you and the image of the creator or the higher power of your own choice and that's really up to you the last person or being or image or thought or idea that stays in the circle with you.
Is there any last minute message before we end?
Express your gratitude and appreciation as the circle starts to dissolve you're just filled with light you start to come back into the room where we began wiggling your toes,
Wiggling your fingers giving yourself just a really good stretch thank yourself for taking this time to really focus on rest,
Relaxation and diving deeper into your own spirit remember that everything you've gained here can be shared with your fellow man especially those that are suffering have a beautiful new week and enjoy this life
