This is your quick fix to increase your parasympathetic tone and feel more relaxed.
The breathing exercise is going to take about 1-2 minutes.
I'm gonna guide you through inhales lasting about 5 seconds and exhale lasting about 14
Seconds.
Doubling the length of the exhalation and slowing the breath stimulates a more parasympathetic
Tone which slows your heart rate and lowers your blood pressure.
Make sure to sit in a comfortable place and if you want to you can close your eyes.
Notice how your breath flows naturally in and out of your body and then take one deep
Breath.
