Welcome to this moment of healing your migraine.
If you're here,
It's because you've been carrying the weight of a migraine.
Maybe it feels like pressure,
Pounding,
Or heaviness.
But today,
You're not going to fight it.
You're going to shift it.
Migraines often happen when our body and mind are overwhelmed,
When we've been holding on too tightly to thoughts,
To stress,
Or emotions.
And the beautiful thing is this.
Just as your body created this response,
It can also release it.
And you have the power to guide it there.
So let's begin this journey together,
Moving from pain to clarity.
Find a comfortable position,
Whether you're sitting or lying down.
And when you feel good,
Slowly close your eyes.
And let your hands rest gently by your sides or on your lap.
Take a deep breath in through your nose.
Hold it for a moment.
And now exhale slowly through your mouth.
Feel your shoulders drop,
Your jaw soften,
Your body beginning to relax.
Now bring your attention to the weight of your head.
Notice the sensations there,
The pressure,
The tightness,
The pulsing.
Without judgment,
Simply observe it.
You're not here to fight it.
You're here to release it.
And as you breathe,
Imagine the tension in your head loosening just a little with each exhale.
Feel the weight in your head begin to sink downward,
Gently dispersing through your neck,
Your shoulders,
And into the ground beneath you.
The earth is strong enough to hold it all.
Now I want you to visualize the migraine in your mind.
Imagine it as a dense ball of energy.
Maybe it's stark or heavy.
Maybe it's pulsing.
Whatever it looks like to you,
Just see it clearly.
Now take a deep breath in.
And as you exhale,
Imagine that ball of energy beginning to shrink.
With every exhale,
It becomes smaller,
Lighter,
And softer.
As it shrinks,
Notice how the pressure in your head begins to ease.
Your breath is clearing space in your body,
Making room for calm and clarity.
Breathe deeply.
Feel the heaviness leaving your skull.
Keep breathing deep.
Now let's use a specific breath technique to release even more tension.
Take a deep breath in through your nose.
And as you exhale,
Imagine a cool,
Soothing breath flowing across your forehead.
Feel that coolness washing away the heat,
The tightness,
And the weight.
Now let's deepen that sensation.
Inhale through your nose for a count of four.
Three.
Two.
One.
Hold it for four.
Three.
Two.
One.
And exhale slowly for six.
Five.
Four.
Three.
Two.
One.
One more time in for four.
Three.
Two.
One.
Hold.
And now exhale slowly for six.
Feeling that cooling breeze sweeping across your temples,
Your forehead,
And your entire head.
Now repeat this breath and with every exhale feel the pain dissolving,
Flowing out of your body like mist.
In for four.
Hold for four.
And exhale for six.
Keep breathing.
And one last cycle.
Now I want you to imagine yourself in the near future,
A version of you completely free from this migraine.
Picture yourself standing tall,
Your mind is clear,
And your body light.
Notice how you're smiling,
How effortlessly you're moving,
How free you feel.
This version of you already exists.
You're stepping into them now,
Merging with their energy.
You can feel their clarity as your own.
You feel their lightness spreading through your body.
And with every breath you're becoming them.
Keep breathing slowly and deeply as you merge into your body.
Into clarity.
Into space.
Into freedom.
And as we close this practice,
Bring your awareness back to your body.
Notice how your head feels lighter,
Your breath deeper,
Your energy calmer.
Take a moment to thank your body for listening to you,
For working with you.
And remember,
When every tension arises,
You have the power to choose clarity,
Calm,
And relief.
Take one last deep breath in.
Hold it.
And exhale fully,
Releasing any remaining weight.
And when you're ready,
Open your eyes.
You're calm.
You're clear.
You're free.
