Hi there and welcome to today's meditation.
I'm Danielle and I will be guiding you through your practice today.
Loneliness is a normal part of life.
I think we all go through it at some time or another.
This meditation is intended to allow you to feel more connected to the earth,
The sky and all the magical people in your life or maybe those that are waiting to be part of your life so that you can remember that immense love is always around you.
So let's get to today's meditation practice.
Start to settle a little bit more into your comfortable meditation posture,
Whether that's lying down or a comfortable seat.
Let's take a moment here to check in with yourself.
Place your hands on your heart and notice the way that you feel.
Notice how your breath is moving through your body.
Begin to invite your exhales to get just a little bit longer.
As you begin to activate your sense of calm,
As you continue to relax and relax.
Let's take a moment here to let your breath flow through your body.
Let's take a moment here to let your breath flow through your body.
As you continue to notice the way that you're feeling,
While you bring this calming energy into your practice,
Notice where there is discomfort in your physical body.
Allow yourself to send a few breaths to these spaces,
Inviting them to release,
Inviting yourself to let go of anything that you may be holding on to that is not serving you in this moment.
And then allow your sense of awareness to continue to journey inward as you begin to notice how you are feeling emotionally.
Noticing if there is a particular emotion that you are feeling in this moment.
And whatever is arising for you,
Just sitting in acceptance of how you are feeling.
Noticing with a lens of compassion.
And knowing that this is one of many experiences.
That the way you are feeling right now does not reflect who you are or who you are capable of being.
Send a few more breaths to your heart space,
Acknowledging your feelings and emotions as messengers,
Telling you exactly what you need.
And as you breathe into your heart space,
Invite the space of kindness and love to open up just as much as it's ready.
Stay open as we move through our practice today.
And then when you're ready,
You can slowly bring your hands back to your lap and just allow your attention to come back to your resting breath.
Just noticing each inhale and each exhale,
Allowing each breath to be this beautiful,
Unique experience that is just for you.
Imagine that you are sitting or lying outside under a beautiful,
Starry sky.
Feel the ground beneath you,
Completely supporting your experience.
The ground which carries the wisdom,
Experience and history of all of humanity.
And feel the sense of support and safety rise up to meet you.
And allow yourself to release and let go of anything you may still be holding on to,
Just allowing yourself to completely surrender to the earth.
From a grounded space now,
Allow your focus to shift to the stars,
The infinite expanse of potential that exists above you.
Notice the marks of beauty that each unique star brings to the night sky.
And then sit back and enjoy the myriad of stars lighting up the sky above you.
And as you rest here,
Appreciating the energy of the earth and the sky,
Begin to imagine that you are surrounded by a community of people who love and care for you.
Imagine that they are all right there with you under this beautiful,
Starry sky.
And maybe you begin to imagine specific people being there with you.
Or maybe you just tune into the energy of community and connection in this space.
Feel the exchange of love,
The giving and receiving of this beautiful energy.
And maybe even taking a moment here to send love to someone that you are thinking of.
And for the next few moments,
Allow yourself to be completely immersed in this space of love and connection.
Connection with the earth and the sky,
But also this beautiful community that surrounds you.
And knowing that this place always exists for you when you're ready to open your heart to experience it.
Slowly beginning to deepen your breath,
Allowing your awareness of your own breath to gently bring you back to the space that you're in.
Bringing your hands back to your heart,
Placing them one on top of the other and noticing how you feel.
And before you return to your day,
I invite you to share these words with yourself,
Allowing them to be like seeds planted in your heart space and then to ripple out and meet the rest of your beautiful being.
With an open heart,
I am connected to myself and all beings.
I attract relationships in my life that serve my highest good.
I radiate and receive love in abundance.
I am infinitely loved.
