Namaste sannyasa family and everyone.
A very warm welcome to all of you in this daily live meditation session with me,
Dhyansa.
We are meditating on 112 meditation techniques of Vigyan Bhairav Tantra.
Two sessions ago,
I spoke about truth and this led to few more comments,
Few more contemplations in our sannyasa family members.
One of the meditators in our sannyasa family members,
She wrote few nice poetic lines which contain a question,
Which contain her state,
Her inner state.
This is the state also of many of you as meditators,
Many of you as being on this spiritual path,
On this spiritual journey.
Let us reflect,
Contemplate on these few lines,
These poetic lines,
Understand the state of this meditator,
Reflect on it and be in meditation.
The meditator says,
Truth and lie,
This stuck out from today's meditation.
Which is true?
In silence,
I hear,
See or feel my truth until this too falls away.
I fall together with all that is.
I hope my song will slowly sound pure.
And who will hear it?
Once a poet,
He was sitting down with his neck down,
Looking at a vessel.
For hours,
He was just sitting down with his neck bent and looking at a vessel.
A Sufi mystic passed by,
He was just walking and he saw this poet sitting there for hours.
So he passed by,
He asked,
He said,
What are you doing?
The poet said,
I am looking at the reflection of the moon in this bowl which has water in it.
Listening to that,
The Sufi mystic started laughing.
He burst into a laughter,
Such a roar of laughter that it started embarrassing the poet.
It even called other people,
They started gathering because the laughter was almost maddening of this Sufi master.
Everyone gathered and this poet even became more embarrassed.
He said,
Why are you doing this?
Why are you embarrassing me?
Why are you ridiculing me here?
I am just sitting here watching this reflection of the moon in the water in this vessel.
The Sufi mystic stopped laughing and said,
Is your neck broken?
If your neck is not broken,
Why don't you just directly look at the moon?
Why are you wasting your time in looking at the reflections of the moon?
When you can directly look at the moon,
Why are you caught in the reflections?
Same is the case here.
You are in reflections of the truth,
You are caught up in the reflections of the truth.
Look at the truth,
Be the truth.
Don't get caught up in the reflections,
In the poetic reflections of the truth.
You say truth and lie.
This stuck out from today's meditation,
Which is true.
You are questioning which is true,
Truth or lie,
Or all this,
Which is true.
As long as you are caught in reflections,
You will have this duality.
You will still have this choice,
Which what?
You will always be in this choice and there will be a question in you.
And as long as you are in this choice,
You are still,
You have not yet come to the truth.
Whatever choices that you have,
The right and the left,
You may call it the truth and the lies.
As long as there is choice in front of you,
You have not yet come to the truth.
So it is neither the truth nor the lie that you are in,
That you are right now coming across in your space.
Because the question has arisen in you.
What is this?
Which,
Which is true?
So you're asking this question unless you stumble upon something where this duality disappears,
Where there is no right,
Where there's no left,
Where there is not even a question of whether this is truth or a lie.
Because when truth is,
You know,
When truth is,
There is no question.
And that truth is a state which is beyond any right and left,
Beyond even the notion of the truth and the lie.
As you understand truth right now,
You understand truth as an opposite to lie.
There is a duality in it.
That truth is simply a device.
Understand that the discourse on the truth,
The spoken words on the truth are never the truth.
Truth can never be spoken.
But whatever is said about the truth as the truth is just a device to cancel all your lies.
Whatever lies you have collected in your life through your learnings,
Through your trainings,
Through your education,
Through your culture,
Through the idea of self,
Through perception,
So many lies you have collected.
And all those lies have to be cancelled for you to come to the truth.
And therefore a truth,
Some words are being spoken about the truth,
Which are just a device as an opposite to cancel your lies.
But as long as you are stuck in these reflections,
In these spoken words about the truth,
Which are just a device to cancel your lies,
You will be always there hanging in these spoken words of the truth and the lies.
You have to go further,
Deeper in silence where there is no reflection of the truth,
No lie.
Where truth simply is.
Which is not the opposite of anything.
There is no polarity to it.
There is no opposite to it.
There is no definition to it.
That is where we are all heading.
Then you say,
In silence,
I hear,
See,
Or feel my truth until this too falls away.
On this spiritual journey,
We tend to be impatient about the truth.
And in that impatience,
We create projections of the truth.
And those projections are bound to fall because they are not the truth.
And as these projections that we are creating,
We start seeing them,
We start hearing them,
We start calling it my truth.
There is no your truth or my truth.
There's only one truth.
Unless you stumble upon that,
That which is universal,
Which has no me,
My,
You,
Your.
Until that point,
Keep moving forward.
Whatever comes across your way,
Cancel that.
Whatever comes across as truth,
Appears as truth,
Is bound to fall.
And this is what is happening to you as well.
You say,
In silence,
I hear,
See,
Or feel my truth until this too falls away.
This,
Of course,
This is bound to fall as you go deeper in silence.
All these projections,
All these reflections,
All these assumptions of what the truth is,
They are going to fall away.
They are just there because you wanted to hold on to something,
Because your mind wanted some object,
Because it cannot stay without an object.
Your ego wanted to have something,
Some solidity,
Without that solidity,
Without coming across something which you can assign as truth,
Which you can assign as something of your revelation.
Your ego is also unsatisfied.
Your ego also starts creating a problem.
Therefore,
Whatever projection that you give,
It falls short.
For a while,
It is there,
But as you go deeper in silence,
It also falls apart.
And this is also happening to you.
You say,
I fall together with all that is.
Yes,
You will fall together with all what you are holding on to.
Your ego,
Your mind,
Your ideas,
Your projections,
Even the idea of the truth,
You will fall together.
Your eye will fall.
Everything that you call as yourself will fall together with it.
When that happens,
Let that happen.
Allow it to happen.
All what is bound to fall,
Let it fall,
And you go deeper in silence.
You go so much deeper in silence that you are not.
Only the whole is.
You are not and only God is.
You are not and only truth is.
Until that point,
Let everything fall.
You also fall along with everything that is your assumption,
That is what you're calling as truth.
You say,
I hope my song will slowly sound pure.
Now,
After this fall,
You once again want to rise.
You realize that you still need to go further.
You realize you still need to purify.
The sound that is there in you still needs purification.
This realization is of value.
This realization that arises in you,
I hope my song will slowly sound pure.
This slowly is also a good sign.
It shows that you have shown now the signs of patience.
Now you realize that this journey is slow.
It is purifying your inner space so that the sound that arises in your inner space is of the pure.
But as long as you say my song,
There is something that is impure in you.
This is still the ego in you which wants the song to be my song.
See that in this space,
In your inner space,
In the silence,
The song that is pure,
The song that you hear,
The anahata,
Nada,
The song,
The sound that is all eternal there,
That song,
That song,
That song is not yours.
It can never be yours.
You have to come out of the way.
You have to get away from,
From the way to the song.
That song,
That inner sound is always happening.
It is eternal.
You cannot create it.
You cannot destroy it.
You can only hear it.
You can be in it.
You can be it.
You say,
And who will hear it?
Once again,
The ego wanting either someone to hear your song,
But if it is not the ego,
If it is arising from a place where you are asking who will hear the song,
Why bother?
You be that song,
That pure song,
That anahata,
Nada,
Which is this eternal sound,
This eternal vibration.
Who cares if someone is hearing that or not?
You merge in it.
You be one with it.
And then there is no question who will hear it because this question is arising out of the ego.
Let that ego be dropped and be one with this sound.
And this eternal sound is always there.
It is only a matter of you coming out of the way.
What does Bhairava has to say in Bijan Bhairava Tantra about this eternal sound,
About this eternal song that you hear when your ego drops,
That you hear when your inner space becomes pure,
When there is complete emptiness,
When there is no I,
When you do not exist within,
Only the whole exists in you,
Only the truth exists in you.
In that truth,
In that wholeness,
In that emptiness,
There is a sound,
There is a song that is heard and Bhairava is talking about that sound,
About that song in his next sutra as a meditation technique.
Let us very briefly listen to it and then meditate over it in the next minutes.
Bhairava says,
Contracting the openings of the ears and also the lower openings in the same way,
Then meditating on the place of Anahata,
Sound within,
One enters the eternal Brahma.
Let me repeat.
Contracting the openings of the ears and also the lower openings in the same way,
Then meditating on the place of the Anahata sound within,
One enters the eternal Brahma.
Here Bhairava is proposing a meditation technique where you can close your ears,
Where you can close all the openings of your body while you are sitting in silence.
While you are meditating,
You close your eyes,
You keep your mouth closed.
The opening that are there except for the nose through which you let the breath flow in and out,
If you close the ears,
If you put your fingers or just your hands on top of the ears,
Close your ears and also the lower openings.
If you close and contract and do certain yogic mudras,
There are three mudras.
Here he is talking about also the lower openings.
The first mudra is the Moolabanda,
Which is the perineum.
If you contract your perineum,
That is Moolabanda.
That is one closing of the opening through which the energy is released.
The second opening is of the urinary tract.
If you contract the urinary tract,
That is the second closure which you do if you want to contain the energy within so that you can hear this unstruck sound,
The Anahata Nada.
And the third contraction that you do is of the anus.
So these are few techniques which are based in yoga,
Based in tantra,
Where if you perform these contractions,
If you close all your openings of the body except for the nose,
For your breath,
You start to accelerate the process of hearing the Anahata Nada,
The sound,
The unstruck sound,
The sound that you do not create,
The sound that is always there flowing in you.
There's another way to do that,
That is to ride on the chant of Aum without having to do any contractions,
Without having to close your ears,
Without having to close any of your lower openings.
If you want to tune yourself in into the hearing of this Anahata Nada,
The unstruck sound,
The sound of eternity,
The primordial sound,
You can follow the sound of Aum.
As I chant Aum,
You can chant Aum along or simply listen to the chant of my Aum.
Start with every chant of mine,
But if you end earlier,
Stay in silence,
Simply listen to my chant,
Wait for me to once again begin the chant.
In that silent gap between two chants,
Listen to the Anahata Nada,
To the unstruck sound in your heart region.
This heart region is containing the Anahata center,
The heart chakra.
We call it Anahata chakra because that's where you hear this Anahata Nada,
The unstruck sound.
So bringing your awareness in every silence to your heart and simply listening to the sounds,
Listening to that unstruck sound of eternity.
Let us close our eyes and chant Aum together and if you cannot chant,
Simply listen and tune in right on the vibrations of Aum,
Taking you to the unstruck sound in your heart.
Closing your eyes and taking a posture that is comfortable for you.
Your body relaxed and alert,
Awareness inwards.
Take a nice deep breath,
Inhale from the nose,
And chant Aum.
Aum.
Aum.
Bringing your awareness to the sound of Aum.
Aum.
Aum.
Aum.
Following the vibrations of Aum,
Taking you to a place of eternity.
Aum.
Aum.
Allowing all your energies to vibrate,
To reverberate with the sound of Aum.
Aum.
Aum.
Flow along with the vibration.
Aum.
Aum.
In this silence,
The vibration continues.
The Aum continues.
Aum.
From the sound to the soundless.
From the struck to the unstruck.
In this silence,
Listen in your inner space.
Aum.
Aum.
Aum.
Aum.
The vibrations continuing in your inner space,
In your silence.
Aum.
Aum.
In silence.
Awareness in your heart region,
At heart center,
Anahata chakra.
Aum.
Aum.
Listening to the vibration,
To the sound of silence.
Aum.
Aum.
Aum.
Aum.
Awareness in the whole of your inner space.
And remaining silent,
Listening to the Anahata Nara.
Aum.
Aum.
Aum.
Aum.
Intune the eternal vibration.
In absolute silence.
In this silence,
You are not.
Truth is.
Aum.
Very gently and slowly,
You may open your eyes.
Remaining in tune with the eternal sound,
The unstruct sound,
The song,
The eternal vibration,
As you move into your day,
Into the rest of your activities.

I tried brahmri pose with all openings closed focusing on anhata and I could hear something which sounds like baby's heartbeat in ultrasound. Is it Anhatanaad?
