Okay,
So.
Join me,
Just find a little movement in the body.
Roll the shoulders a little bit.
And maybe you just allow your eyes to grow heavy so you close the eyes.
Finding stillness in the shoulders,
Rocking the head side to side.
Just stretching the right side of the neck and then the left side.
Release your jaw.
And if it feels okay to you,
Finding a circle with the neck.
So leaning the right ear to right shoulder.
And then allowing the chin to come down to your chest.
Left ear,
Left shoulder and then let the chin lift up towards you.
Taking this really,
Really slow.
Switching directions if this still feels good on your body.
And relax back through to neutral.
Inhale,
Pull the shoulders up to your ears.
Exhale,
Drop the shoulders down.
Maybe you're pressing the palms,
The hands down into your lap for more grounded energy.
Let the elbows feel heavy.
Bring awareness to your feet.
Awareness to your ankles.
Your legs,
Your hips.
Feel your body root down.
Allowing your belly to soften.
You don't have to hold or grip.
Feel the strength of your spine and how it holds you.
Yet feel a softening.
Releasing all the muscles in the back.
Feel the shoulders drop even more.
The arms melt.
You are free to just be here.
Allow every muscle in your face to soften.
Maybe you open and close the mouth a couple times.
Or gently part.
The lips.
Allowing the jaw to be unhinged.
Can you feel your eyebrows soften?
Your eyes rest.
My friend,
There really isn't any.
Rush.
Nothing is really that urgent.
Or life-threatening.
You have full permission to stop.
And pause and breathe right here.
Feeling your overall.
Energy.
And nervous system slow down.
Giving yourself a deep breath in.
And a big relaxing exhale.
Feeling how your breath internally shifts.
Every cell in your body.
And notice how the music.
Soothes every cell in your body.
Noticing externally how.
This practice is impacting you.
Holding you.
When everything outside of us seems to be swirling or moving fast You can turn inward.
You can protect your energy here.
You can protect your peace here.
I invite you to join me in a breathwork practice.
At any point,
It doesn't feel right to you,
You can simply let it go and Just focus on an inhale and exhale.
We'll start with an equal breath in.
And breath out.
Inhale through your nose.
Hold for a moment take another sip of air in Big sigh.
A two to one breath pattern,
Inhale.
Inhale… Let it go.
Finding a rhythm that works for you,
Breathing in.
A little more air in.
Let it go.
Slow,
Slow exhale.
Breath in.
One more little sip.
Big really.
Let this ease wash over you,
Calm you.
Take this to your own rhythm.
A long inhale,
One short inhale,
And a big,
Big exhale.
Maybe whispering in the quiet of your own mind,
I am worthy of peace.
Despite all the unknown.
Stay with your breath,
Your heart.
Maybe just a couple more rounds of this breath pattern.
See if you can soften a little more.
When you're ready,
Just let it go.
And get really present.
With how you feel.
What has shifted.
Relax your face a little more,
My friend.
And open your heart to these words by Brianna Ouesi.
One day.
The mountain that is in front of you will be so far behind you.
It will barely be visible in the distance.
But the person you become,
Learning to get over it,
Will stay with you forever.
And that is the point of the mountain.
Whatever mountain is in front of you right now,
My friend,
Will soon be so far behind you.
Barely visible in the distance.
Let that bring you great relief and peace right here.
Breathe.
All that life is asking of you is to breathe and take it one moment at a time.
Let it be simple.
You are here and that is enough.
Noticing how your heart feels now.
Can you feel the shift in your nervous system?
The mind moving a little bit slower.
Take in this feeling right here.
Follow your breath in.
Follow your breath out.
Finding movement in your hands gently.
Maybe pressing the thumb on each finger.
Really slowly.
Reawakening and only if it feels right placing your hands over your heart.
This is a grounding gesture,
Posture.
Let it remind you to live from your heart.
To see your day from.
Your heart.
Versus the mind.
All is well.
You are here.
And you are enough.
And you are right on time,
My friend.
Steady breath in.
Big exhale.
Maybe just like we started,
Finding some gentle head tilts or turning and looking over your right shoulder.
And then looking over your left shoulder.
Coming back to neutral,
Finding a soft smile or a big smile.
Blinking your eyes open if they were closed.
From my heart to yours,
Thank you so,
So much for choosing to practice with me today.
